Just looked on the TV planner and unless it changes it does not look like it is on Eurosport so guess it might be on Discovery + -
FIM Woman's Speedway Gold Trophy
Richspeedway replied to secsy1's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yeah that is right as she does F3 now and has done Sportscars. A few others do Sportscars as well think with the same idea. I do not have anything against F1 Academy or motorsport just for women as do watch F1 Academy but like said in other posts in series where you have women and men competing together there is not a massive disadvantage and seen women win races in a grid with men -
FIM Woman's Speedway Gold Trophy

It is just like motorsport as there is F1 Academy, a series for female racing drivers though you also have female drivers racing in F3, WEC, ELMS etc and have/doing a great job in them racing against men. -
I noticed that was shut and fencing round it last year on my way to Silverstone. Shame to see the place closed as always looked busy and always loads of bikers outside when I used to go past.

By the time it is done it will be Charlie's Jubilee

The media do not know Speedway but if a rider is caught drink driving, drugs etc they soon find out about it -

Reading the link and Buster is asking for silly money for someone to take it over just sounds like Horton when he tried to sell the Bees for stupid money even after they were kicked out of Brandon! -
Maybe if Rye House comeback in 2024 he might get a spot in there side (depending which league they ride in)

Finale of UK Speedway ?
Richspeedway replied to old bob at herne bay's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Maybe if some teams are looking at NORA it might shock (or give them the kick of the ****) to finally sort out the sport in the UK but I very much doubt it and heads will remain buried in the sand -
I might be wrong but I think it was Chris Simpson as he also did the presenting for Cov Storm (which I preferred to the out dated Peter York)

Ippo v Tigers 16/05/22

Sorry Sam I forgot who is riding in what colour.... -
First TV meeting of the season and not a great one to start off with. I thought they would start with Peterborough as defending champs. For the presentation Kiri was good at the top of the show. Kelv was still understandably emotional at the start talking about Nige and will no doubt be feeling it for a while as they were very close friends. Kelv did a good job under the circumstances and Jason was good on the same lines of Louis. Not sure if Jason will carry on for the rest of the season or if they will have a guest co-host with Kelv from week to week? Not sure why Sam was there, never really been a fan of him behind the mic and just rambling on and not giving much of an opinion. Dave Rowe would be a good addition but like said stick a camera on him and he does get a little shaky but he is a good stats man and knows his stuff.

Anyway back to the GP and I thought it was a great start on Eurosport. Kelv did a great job and understandably emotional without Nige. Chris was not bad and I think if they stay together they will build a good relationship on the comms. Scotty in the pits was not bad though expected Dave Rowe to be somewhere in the team. Great racing expected a bore fest but credit to the track staff as Gorican served up some great racing. Bartosz is going to be tough to beat this year I fear but it is a long season so lets see what happens. Roll on Warsaw!!

Saw Midlands Today mentioned Nige on the news and also a piece is on the BBC website https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-61126833
