I don't think that we were suggesting that we should still play these tracks we were replying to the post asking us what our memories were of the music we remembered from when we first attended speedway.

There is no mention in the Ipswich fixture list of either Jason's testimonial or the mooted Under 19 event.

Speedway On Tv And The Internet In 2024

I have discovery plus through Sky. In the past I have watched the Grand Prix 's and league matches with no problem. However today when I click the FIM Speedway of Nations I get the following, 'Sorry this content isn't available with your current pass from your affiliate provider. Anyone else having this problem? -
This year with the GP being in August all the hotels, Airbnbs, etc are all even more exorbitantly priced than ever. I think it may well affect the attendance.

Mau replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Web site confirms Chris Harris.. It's a pity we couldn't have had Scott Nicholls. -
KO cup final dates Witches v Tigers 2023
Mau replied to Badge's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
If Kyle Howarth doesn't ride due to injury the Sheffield side will only have one rider that took part in the meetings leading to this final whereas Ipswich will track the identical seven riders that beat Leicester back in April. -
The attendances at televised meetings always drops considerably, therefore one wonders if it is actually in the clubs best interest (financially) to make the playoffs. Might this be why we have not made any late changes to the team?
-
I noticed that we had tactfully decided to drop the practice of flying our riders national flags on the centre green.
-
On the Speedway updates site. He had two rides 2+1, and 3. Total 5+1.
-
Does anyone know why Emil only had two rides for Torun last night (28/3/23) ? I hope he wasn't injured.
-
i really do not understand why we did not start the season with either an open meeting such as the Billy Sanders memorial of a friendly. This year with three riders who have not ridden the track before and another returning from injury it makes more sense than ever to give them some track time before riding a league meeting. It 's been said in the past that these meetings do not attract the crowds to make it financially viable, that cannot be the case this year with with supporters anxious to see Emil and Keynan.

There is no reason to rush and sign another rider as rising star. Initially, at any rate, we can use riders such as Leon Flint and Dan Thompson as guests.

Will Eurosport be televising any Premiership meetings this season, if so has a schedule been published? -
Don't either the Ipswich or Peterborough local press employ investigative reporters anymore? I'm sure if Elvin King was still around we would have known what was going on.

Looking at the old programs it would seem that Kalina was a Czech international who rode in three home meetings at Foxhall, The Billy Sanders Memorial Trophy on the 21st March 1991 when he scored just the one point, the meeting against Kings Lynn on the Good Friday when he scored 7 and on the 4th April when he again just scored one. I think he fell in his second race and took no further part. I guess he also rode for the Witches in a few away meetings.

Middlo Is Another Sven
Mau replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Is Middleditch another Sven? The answer is YES, the similarities are startling. Sven cost us progress in the world cup by not taking to Germany the country's in form leading goalscorer, Darren Bent. A striker that learnt his craft at Ipswich. Middleditch has ignored the in form Louis. Also from Ipswich. Sven also inexpicably included in his squad a player that had he had never before seen play, Middleditch has included in his squad Edward Kennett but ignored Dean Barker. Why, World Cups are not training events, the squads should consist of the country's most experienced performers. -
Round 1 + 2 Line-ups Announced
Mau replied to Silver Bee's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I heard on Planet Speedway an extremely arrogant interview by Lee Richardson when he stated that there no British riders that were suitable sustitutes for himself and Scotty should either of them be off form. Lee could start by looking at the Speedway Stars fantasy league table where he will see that he dosen't even feature in the top six English elite league point scorers this season. As at 26th June they were 1 Scott Nicholls 251 points 2 Mark Loram 246 3 David Norris 214 4 Chris Louis 212 5 Simon Stead 205 6 Dean Barker 184 Neil Middleditch could lose us a semi-final place by overlooking Chris Louis, the current NO One in form English rider. -
Hi, anyone not wanting to fly to Lonigo might be interested in the travel arrangements I have made, all on the internet. Thursday Morning Eurostar to Paris, £59 return. (return on Wednesday) Thirsday PM Paris to Milan £45 return (return Tuesday night in sleeper) Hire car pick up from Verona airport Sat Morning. Verona is 90 minutes by train from Milan. Ive booked a hotel in Milan for the Friday night and a hotel in Vicenza for Sat, Sun & Monday. Total cost including all admission, trains, car hire and hotels for four nights come in at under £400. I intend using Friday to visit San Siro football stadium in Milan and Monday for a train trip into Venice. Quite a good holiday for the price. Perhaps I should become a travel agent!!! Maud

I seem to remember from when I had lower tier seats a couple of years ago that the seats seemed a lot closer to gether and as they were not banked so much your view was far more likely to be blocked by some idiot waving his flag. Maud
