On Saturday the 13th October Bretford host 2 individual meetings. One with the younger riders which will start at 1pm at bretford playing fields Brandon road bretford nr Rugby. The main meeting will start at 3pm this is called the coventry junior trophy. This is an individual meeting with 8 experienced Bretford riders and 8 experienced Coventry Riders. The tight circuit at Bretford gives great exciting racing. Bretford will have British under 14,s Champion Lee Kemp hoping to win but James Kirrane who is older from the Coventry Club will not allow Lee to have everything his own way. So if you have a spare couple of Hours come down and see this racing.

Bretford Cycle Speedway Club host the midlands third round Of the British youth and junior round on Saturday 1pm. Bretford is a tight circuit and for all you speedway fans we are just down the road from Brandon Stadium. If you come from the Coventry direction to Brandon you follow the signs towards Rugby the next Village after Brandon is Bretford. We are on a left turn up a dirt track just as you come down to the Bretford Junction. At bretford there is always a few spills as you run slightly down hill to the first bend and then up hill to the third bend. This Is a good circuit to watch the youngest race. Come and join us. -

BORING BORING BORING. YAWN YAWN YAWN. This GP was terrible. If we dont start seeing better racing, Sky might pull the plug. Surely the riders cant be that bad when they miss the gate? The last 2 GPS have been the same nothing much to shout about. Gate and go. It looked like the track had no shale on. They might as well have raced on a tarmac overall. Lets see some racing please please please. -
Handy Hints For Cardiff
Bernie replied to shielfield's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
We have taken my boys aged 7 and 11 in Callaghanns in the beer garden before without any problems. Even had some food not bad either. -
SS i think the people in the final took the advantage AS THIS IS THE 1ST gp. Crump rode well all night. NP rode well. I think you have your clouded glasses on. I think TRICK stuggled because Gollob rode him all over the track. I am sure if you watch the reply and watch Gollob, TR couldnt find a way past.

Bernie replied to holbeachfans's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
We are staying at Cardiff West and I have just confirmed that my booking is the same price as I booked it for. They say it is about £48.00 which is ok. So for those that have booked ring and check before cancelling. -
The Russians And The Germans
Bernie replied to 21st century heathen's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Id like to echo what everyone has said about the Russian Team and the German Team. I was disgusted at the way the SKY presents said they were making up the numbers. On a few occasions even the the top riders struggled to get past the German Team Riders. They did not give credit where it was due. Smoli showed what a good rider he will be. He got out on the best riders and still made them work hard to pass him. Well done to both teams excellent showing. Give praise were its due. COME ON THE BRITS -

qUOTE OK where do I start? Apart from completely contradicting yourself you are also saying that Tony didn't deserve his win because he was cheating using an oversize engine. Also I think you will find that this years GP had the biggest attendance so far. Oh, and its Pirate Paul How being a Poole fan makes me ''not a fan of the sport' I will think about for a while and get back to you. 1ST rabbit was i talking to you NO. Pirate Poole Fan. Please see recent figures. 38 thousand lower than previous years. See motor cycling news. BSI will be looking at this. All I can say is that People with opions on this site are not allowed to have views. I have been going to speedway for years and years. I have also visted many clubs throught out UK. What i am saying is not dishing Tony but have found this year GP boring. -

Bernie replied to Subedei's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Paul Pirate as you can see you are a pirate and not a FAN of the sport. I beleive we will wait and see. Time will tell and all the other riders will soon catch on to Tony's Formula. May be Frame or different engines. I am not sayint Tony deserve his win. What i am saying is that I personally do not like the new format. I have spoken to many people and feel it is a step backwards not forwards. We may see new regulations - if tony has something specail BSI will not want a repeat next year. As you all know the gates were down at Cardiff this year. Possibly due to the new format.
