  1. Wonder why they didn't ride the meeting on Wednesday, was it the weather or other commitments ?
  2. Damn I feel good. Looks like were going to face Ostrow in the play-off to stay in E-liga. Stadium packed..pretty much a sell out..fantastic atmosphere.
  3. Cry me a river. Not the first and not the last time it's been done in Polish speedway. If he's got a sick note from a doctor no one is gonna stop him from riding today.
  4. sportowefakty.pl will do live updates and I think DK4 is showing it.

  6. I agree, I think Smolinski would be the best bet for the WC considering he's the most effective German in both Swedish and British league. Hefe second choice.
  7. Lindgren rode in Sweden yesterday and will race on Saturday (unless there is a drastic change in his health). Iversen on the other hand did one meeting in Poland on a slick track (which didn't aggravate his ankle) in Bydgoszcz and did really well. NKI decided to take the week off to make sure his injury heals and will also be riding on Saturday.
  8. I think Adams mentioned on Sky last night that Balinski will be using his engines/bikes at Vojens.
  9. Thnx! I went to Bydgoszcz quietly hoping (like most Falubaz fans) of getting a good result but this was a very nice surprise. Since this was just the first step I aint getting all hopped up about this victory. Judgment day will come on the 16th.
  10. One day Rico...one day you will ...maybe in the SGP's
  11. Are Slovenian fans surprised (and perhaps upset?) by Jurica's nomination or was it expeceted? Should be getting a big turnout from the Croats then.
  12. I think I'll just wait 'till november/december...this bloody league and PZM is such a mess there is no point reading into what these w.nkers tell us now as everything could change tomorrow.
  13. Also worth noting is that Cieslak has hinted in interviews that he might quit his job as a speedway manager/coach altogether and concentrate on his business.
  14. There's very little chance for ZG to get the GP any sooner then 2010. BSI were in town few weeks ago to check out the facilities and the area. The stadium is still awaiting the second phase of renovations where there are plans to expand the stadium to 20,000...but as with most tracks in Poland it's owned by the municipality so there is still a lot of red-tape bulls..t to get thorugh... Night life is not bad ... but of course nothing close to what Wrolcaw/Poznan. Commuting is the biggest problem as the closest airports are in Worclaw and Poznan (140km away) and Berlin (170km). From what I hear tho is that ZG has a very good chance of hosting the GP Challange in 2008.
  15. Interesting note was the fact that veteran speedway rider Dariusz Sledz was the speaker (and I think it was his debut ?) at the Wroclaw finals and apparently did an excellent job. Looks like he'll find a job easily when he's done with speedway for good.
  16. A bit off topic but you can watch Wrolcaw-Zielona Gora meeting from last Thrus. straight from your browser HERE Gotta have good net connection tho.
  17. The refs decision with Pepe was controversial to say the least. HERE If the meeting was at ZG the decision would have gone the other way... but thats polish speedway. But It aint over 'till the fat lady sings. ps. Mateusz, if pepe was blocking/fencing how come the ref didn't exclude or at least warn him?
  18. I certainly am. ......of to Bydgoszcz now
