  1. Yesterday's meeting was called off due to rain fall, so both the defending champs Unia Tarnow and 1st runner-up WTS Wroclaw postponed the meeting to today. This meeting was supposed to be a real cracker but the visitors from Wroclaw looked awful and got pounded by Tarnow! Details: Unia Tarnów - WTS Atlas Wrocław 58:31 Unia Tarnów 9. 2. Hi Tomaz, is Jurica Pavlic old enough to race in FIM sanctioned events this year?? Looks like he never lost a beat as he's right back in the thick of things. Did the construction of the new track/stadium in Prelog begin yet ?
  3. Polish President has announced state of national mourning, which will end after J.P. II funeral.
  4. update: looks like the 1&2 div. meetings will be shown on TV Puls instead of Tele5, I think the change was made because Puls reaches a larger audience.
  5. Looks like TV Puls will also be re-broadcasting polish 1st & 2nd div. More details soon to follow...
  6. Let me tell you, Huszcza still kicks-ass on and off the track. At last years physicall evaluation he ranked second(!!!!) amongst his teammates.Only 25 year-old K.Stojanowski was better.
  7. What happens if your guide's going to get totally pissed and pass out?How r u going to find ur way to Leszno?
  8. Great, spread the word around amongst potential Wroclaw SGP visitors, tickets should be around 4-5GBP a pop, so its a real bargain
  9. 1st & 2nd division will also be televised on polish tv. Every Monday, following a round of league speedway channel called Tele5 will show re-runs. I'm not sure though if the channel is available in GB, check with ur cable/satellite provider. ps. I think its a digital channel so it should be available on satellite (if u know how to set up parameters and all that crap)
  10. heat 18 rings a bell ....I think that's the one, thnx! hopfully I can get a hold of it!
  11. speaking of old GP footage, I remember seeing an interview with Billy Hamill done by Julia Bradubury(?). Billy was reminiscing about a heat (can't rember who else was in it) at a Bydgoszcz GP and both Billy and Julia agreed that it was probably one of the best SGP heats in its history. Unfortunately I can't remember what year or heat it was, maybe someone on the forum might have a better memory ????
  12. Good to hear...when these teams meet u can cut the tension with a knife and it should be no different this time! Nothing like a derby on a hot summer day after downing a few pints ...and the offensive style of N.Pedersen
  13. Hi, I see quite a few fans from GB are planning to soak in the action at Wroclaw. I'm just curious to know how many ppl r planning to travel to Leszno the next day for Ekstraliga?? Leszno is only about 80-90km north of Wroclaw and the meeting it self should be a dandy as Leszno takes on their bigges rival, Zielona Góra. Would be nice to see an international flavour at polish league meeting tom
