  1. Nothing official but what I hear is Adrian is in a race with time to be fit for the final. Most likely it'll be a last minute decision.
  2. Hi, few of us are planning to make the trip for the U21 final. It anyone has links or numbers to relatively affordable hotels in Terenzano please know here or PM. Thnx in advance!
  3. I was in Tarnow for the final, Jacek rode on his brother's (Marcin) bike which is set-up for the hard rock Tarnow track very well. First half of the meeting pretty boring, eventually as there was more and more dirt on the outside the racing got somewhat better.
  4. Yes, usually in the tv listings the call it "Magazyn Sportowy" although it's not always speedway. TV listings
  5. I'm also thinking about heading to Terenzano. Any links/tips on cheap motels? Any help appreciated.
  6. Bonnie Taylor and Michael Bolton doing a 40-minute pre-show together??
  7. Exactly, the feed on Polsat is from TV4+. But If I had to compare all three, then it's defenitely Sky at No.1............nothing........................then Polsat and Tv4+. Mind you TV4 is squeezed into a one hour slot which give you limited options, you get the heat, quick interview between and back to track for the next heat.
  8. Tonight at 10pm (local time), Vastervik vs. Luxo Stars. The feed is from Swedish station TV4, is the meeting shown at the same time in Sweden?
  9. According to his website he'll now be going through a 2 week rehab after a recent operation, might be a last minute decision for Adrian.
  10. It's almost 500km from Bydgoszcz to Tarnow, when you take in account Polish roads you're looking at 7 to 8hr drive...easily.

  12. Like Ricos says, should be a dandy. Gotta show up at the track ASAP or you'll end up sitting in the visitors sector ...just ask Rico.
  13. Anyone know why Hamill didn't ride for Eskilstuna last night, maybe our friends Tarabanko or Zetters might know?

  16. Sorry, don't have the times. Hard to say at the moment. Top 4 and bottom 4 teams in e-liga and 1 div. will split and be seeded against each other in the play-offs. What is certain at them moment is that Wroclaw will be riding a home meeting on the day (probably against Czestochowa). In 1st. div. Ostrow will host Zielona Gora in a meeting to deceide who advances directly to e-liga. Best to wait 'till this sunday when the table situation clears up in the last round of regular season.
  17. Gdansk ride away in Pila that day.
  18. I hope they're not just blowing hot air and a 10 team league becomes a fact! NEW EXTRALEAGUE THE Polish Extraleague will change next season. The Chairmen want ten teams instead of eight, and new transfer rules. Starting from 2007 Poland's top division will be managed by Ryszard Kowalski, who is a Professional League chairman. He has sent a special guestionnaire to Extraleague bosses. They were asked what kind of league would they like to compete in. It is almost certain that this league will include ten teams. Two will get a chance to enter it on a 'golden cart' rule. "It is for the teams with money and a stable financial condition," says Marian Maslanka, Wlokniarz Czestochowa chairman. Polish teams cannot limit the transfers of foreign riders, as that would be contradictory to European Union law. However, they want to pass a rule that will force each Extraleague team to have five riders from Poland, including at least two juniors. Clubs will probably not be allowed to exceed 2.5mln PLN on transfers. www.speedwayworld.tv
  19. There is very positive news regarding Wilk's injury. With every week there is improvement in his health. Rafal is slowly getting feeling back in his legs. Better yet he's already taken a few steps with the assistance of knee braces stabilize his legs and handrails used in rehab. rafalwilk.pl
  20. Apparently Simon suffered a serious injury in a U21 Swe-Den test meeting? Hope our Swedish friends can translate From what I gather in the article he has a fractured bone? Simon ej allvarligt skadad SPORT/SPEEDWAY/VÄSTERVIK Publicerad: 2006-07-15 23:00 Inkallad till landskamp och utkörd över sargen. Simon Gustafssons inhopp i U21-landslaget i speedway kunde ha slutat riktigt olyckligt. Fyra veckor utan speedway lyder läkarnas rekommendation. 21. WHO remembers the World Junior Individual Champion 2001? Just to remind everyone – his name is Dawid Kujawa. After two and a half years he is back on track! Kujawa was given a chance by Swedish club Kaparna Gothenburg. 25 year old Dawid moved to Sweden some time ago to work as a mechanic. He was frustrated with poor results in the Polish leagues, where he was under huge pressure due to his Junior Championship title. Kujawa started to work as Joonas Kylmakorpi's mechanic. "I am happy he gave me a chance to work. Don't I miss riding? Not very much. The fun has gone," Dawid was saying a year ago. Now he claims he is happy to get help from Kaparna. He wants to pay back their trust and is not thinking about a Polish league comeback yet. www.speedwayworld.tv Dawid was in the pits at the Gorzow-Zielona Gora pits helping out a bit Walasek. Didn't expect to see him back on the track tho.
  22. Chris Holder Freddie Lindgren Nikolai Klindt Janusz Kolodziej
  23. E-liga: HERE 1st Div. HERE 2nd Div. HERE
  24. It was a night of domination be the Swedes (no surprise). Looks like Freddie got his bikes sorted out and his gating was better. Buczkowski raced well below expectations, looked like he couldn't find the setup on the hard and slick track. The rider who impressed me the most was Chris Holder, if he keeps progressing at his present pace he will go places. Haven't seen a rider this good in some time. Still a bit rowdy on the bike tho but I'm sure he'll calm down with age .
