  1. I don't think Jagus wants to be in the Grands Prix - he's a practical chap and not really interested in paying to ride in the circus. Oh dear, you're not going to be popular writing things like that, young fellow. You should be waxing lyrical about how the global superstar started with 6 points and managed just 4 points more from a further 5 rides. Don't you know it was a monumental achievement?
  2. So, why is your beloved hero the global superstar always saying how "desperate" he is to win one if they mean nothing? I didn't think you were stupid, but coming out with such crass comments as that I'm not so sure now. Of course Grands Prix wins mean something.
  3. He was outstanding in his first couple of rides, just as he was at Daugavpils. And he did very well to make mugs of Andersen and Adams in the semi-final. But the fact remains that he barely made the semis after appearing home and dry after his first couple of rides.
  4. Yes, already delivered the knockout blow, I'm afraid.
  5. So pathetic. That book will also have Tomasz Gollob's numerous Grand Prix wins, but will history record your beloved global superstar as the rider to appear in most Grands Prix without winning a single one? So far he's appeared in SIXTY-SIX of them and hasn't won a single one.
  6. Nicki P and Rickardsson are the two that immediately spring to mind under the current format. I think Gollob might've gone through the card at Bydgoszcz unbeaten under the old format.
  7. Where? People talk about Holder, Sajfutdinov, Pavlic and Woffinden, just like they used to talk about Kasprzak, Zagar, Lindback and Lindgren. And look at what happened to them. At the minute there are six riders head and shoulders above the rest in the GPs (Nicki P, Crump, Hancock, Gollob, Andersen and Adams), with Jonsson on the fringes and the rest scrambling for occasional scraps.
  8. You ought to consider yourself lucky to have got a reply to your ill-informed claptrap.
  9. Takes one to know one, so they say. But is that really the extent of your ability to debate? I mean, that's just pathetic.
  10. And what excuses have you got lined up for if he doesn't? I merely stated FACTS. The facts are he started with 6 points from 2 rides and scored just 4 from his final FIVE rides. In the last GP he started with 5 from his first couple of rides and scored just 2 from his last three.
  11. But only 10 points. After a couple of heats he was tied with Gollob and Nicki P on 6 points. They scored 20 and 21 points respectively (both, incidentally, coming away from the GP with more points than eventual winner Hancock) and he only scored 10 points.
  12. On that subject, I don't mind Millard, but how many different ways did he find of pronouncing Buczkowski?
  13. Great grand prix. Gollob threw it away when he gambled on beating Nicki P out of the start. Always a chance Nicki P would clamp him from gate 2 if Gollob didn't make the start. He should've gone for 4 and the wide open spaces.
  14. I don't think he's a junior anymore. Edit: He's not eligible. Born in October 1985, which would make him 22.
  15. Or implode spectacularly. It reminds me somewhat of the considered view of many experts regarding Egon Muller ahead of Norden in 1983: he'd either win easily or do nothing at all.
  16. Looks like nothing but bad news for the Swedes. Jonasson probably out for the season after crashing in his homeland tonight. And Ricky Kling withdrawing after a tumble in his first ride at Ipswich tonight. And not much better for the Poles, with both Gomolski and Pawlicki likely to be sidelined with injury for this meeting.
  17. Here are the details: http://live.sportowefakty.pl/launch_speedway_1167.html
  18. And if Gollob doesn't get first or second gate choice in the final, he might well repeat the feat.
  19. I thought it was a rather dreary meeting. Nicki P was in a league of his own. Favourite for Saturday? If it was any other Grand Prix, at any other track I'd probably have to agree, but Saturday is Poland and Bydgoszcz.
