Mildenhall v Brummies NL Sat 9th Aug
adz_mft replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in National League Speedway
Will be a close meeting tonight.Birmingham's top 4 all ride the track well.Mildenhall will need to be on top of their game that's for sure -
Yes I know,I was just saying that's the only way a guest for Walker would work.Best off going with rr
-
Would make more sense to use rr for walker like they are doing at Mildenhall.Walker hasn't exactly been pulling up trees away from home and especially against Mildenhall I think he'd struggle to score. At least with rr for him it gives Armo (as a guest) the chance to potentially gain 3 points in a race. The only way a guest for Walker is going to work is if you use a decent 3 pointer or Spiller.Using Nick Laurence isn't really going to work imo
-
You may get something out of Saturday's meeting as yet. With us having rr for Bailey and you having 2 track specialists as guests.RR for Walker makes you stronger. He would struggle to score a point on Saturday and with you able to use Flint at least you could potentially gain 3 points. Will be a close meeting imo

Replacing who? William?
-
Would be ridiculous if you're unable to replace an injured rider. It's not just a random change at the end of the day.
-
Dan Halsey? Has gone well around your place before and with facing Mildenhall again could be a good move?

Scorpions v Ipswich 24.08.18 SGBC

I agree i think Bickley has come up too early. With regards to riders coming over from abroad. How many of them are just 16 year old? They are normally 18 or older.Another couple of years and I'm sure Drew would perform at a similar if not better level than these.Whatever happens he is a huge prospect. -

I'd hardly say he was cleaning up in the NL tbh 2 tough 1st meetings for Drew (Not sure if he's ever seen Workington) but showed his potential last night by the looks of it. Having had the luxury of seeing him all season he's progressing quickly. He has such a smart racing racing brain for 1 so young.I knew he'd do well this year but didn't think he'd do as well as he has -
His tantrum as you put it is to do with the fact he hates being beat by anyone.Especially when it would have completed his maximum. He was happy the club won.Why not celebrate? Lighten up a bit
-
The sport needs more entertainers like him not less. Whoever he has rode for has loved seeing him celebrate like he does.Crowd reacts to it,which makes for a better atmosphere. The better the atmosphere, the more he does to celebrate.Hope he continues to do it. Great come back from the lads last night. There's a great spirit amongst them right now. Determined to keep that league record in place

As soon as they locked up you knew it was going to be bad.Real shame as it had been a good day. -

Looked to me that he was hit by a bike mate from the view I had. -

No he wasn't.Gutted for him as he has done a sterling job at number 2.Fingers crossed he's back soon. Was a nasty looking crash where they just seem to all tangle together.Bailey will miss Saturday due to concussion Great to see such a big crowd. They did really well to keep the dust down as long as they did.Was incredibly hot. -
I've read this about 10 times and still don't understand what you're on about

There's already a thread for this Elliot

Stoke v Brummies NT Sat 21st April
adz_mft replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in National League Speedway
Yes Saturday is their alternative day. Have had a fair few on a Saturday. Jordan was good around Stoke on previous visits. Could be a little race rusty with all of our meetings being off so far this year but I know he's been practicing -
Coventry Bees v Stoke 8-4-18 3pm ( At Leicester).
adz_mft replied to Woz01's topic in National League Speedway
Also when Mildenhall aren't riding I suspect you may see a few make the trip to Leicester with 3 ex riders involved. -
With Coventry riding on the Sunday I suspect Luke Ruddick would have been in the Newcastle line up instead of Kelsey but as he's riding for Coventry he's been put in the Eastbourne line up. Good to see so many Mildenhall riders in the line up. Would have been 6 of our 7 involved had Bebee unfortunately not withdrew from it. Looking forward to seeing these lads progress this season that's for sure

You say that about the guests in the final but whatever average Drew and Jordan achieve, they have achieved it for a reason

1.JPB 2.Dwyer 3.Armstrong 4.Ruddick 5.Greenwood 6.Halder 7.3 pointer

Bottom half finish with that head leader trio and Flint? No chance imo
