  1. Ahhh i haven't seen the press release with Stef being announced as number 1. Certainly a team of; Nielsen,Bates,Halsey,Baseby,Branford,Stoneman,Stoneman would be fairly impressive.I would be pretty happy with that. Branford impressed me whenever i saw him last season.Scary as hell to watch but exciting all the same.I got the impression that the promotion liked him.
  2. If Jacobs was to be part of the team i think he would have been announced already if i'm honest. So far i reckon we have; Stefan Nielsen 8.32 Dan Halsey 6.57 Josh Bates 5.30 Aaron Baseby 5.26 Nathan Stoneman 3.00 That leaves us with 11.55 for the remaining 2 riders. Obviously if we go with another 3 pointer at reserve it leaves us with a decent amount of points for another big hitter.Jacobs,Branford,Wright,Morley to name a few. Or we could go down the route of signing a higher averaged reserve.I know a few Mildenhall fans who have said they wouldn't mind seeing a new generation of Coles riding West Row in Connor. That would leave us with 7.25.Which is a bit of a funny amount as there aren't really any riders about with that sort of average. If Jacobs doesn't return i wouldn't mind seeing Wright or Branford riding for us.Either would give a really strong pairing in heats 13 and 15. 1/ Charles Wright......1/ Stefan Nielsen.......1/Stefan Nielsen 2/ Josh Bates...........2/ Josh Bates............2/Josh Bates 3/ Dan Halsey..........3/ Dan Halsey............3/Dan Halsey 4/ Aaron Baseby......4/ Aaron Baseby........4/Aaron Baseby 5/ Stefan Nielsen......5/ Joe Jacobs............5/Jaimie Pickard 6/ Nathan Stoneman..6/ Nathan Stoneman.6/Nathan Stoneman 7/ 3 pointer...............7/ 3 pointer...............7/Connor Coles
  3. He didn't do enough meetings to gain a new average
  4. Correct that would fit.Grieves is off to Coventry I believe though
  5. Out of interest.Has Adam Ellis signed for next season? Just he isn't on the confirmed list on the bspa site, yet I read that he was returning :s
  6. If the limit is lowered though.Halsey could be 1 of the best 3rd heat leaders in the league imo
  7. With Stef and Lewis both possibly being in the PL next season.Maybe the promotion thought the club can't afford to be missing 2 riders if fixtures clash.Maybe?
  8. Missed out Halsey aswell mate. Decent start to team building that.Looking at facebook it would appear that Lewis won't be returning which is a real shame as he is a bargain on a 7.01 1.Stefan Nielsen 8.32 2.Josh Bates 5.30 3.Danny Halsey 6.57 4.?? 5.?? 6.Nathan Stoneman 3.00 (if fit) 7.?? Depending on the limit. If it stays at 40 it leaves us with 16.81 for the remaining 3.Would guess another 3 point rider at reserve perhaps. With Jacobs and Baseby filling in the other 2 spots maybe? If it drops to 38.I quite like Phil's suggestion in an earlier post of Connor Coles signing. This though would leave us unable to sign Jacobs.Otherwise a limit of 38.5 would fit Jacobs,Coles and a 3 pointer
  9. It is going to be really tough to drop riders next season to fit into the points limit. The only two imo who i hope are 100% certain are Josh and Nathan. After that it is anyones guess tbh. The form Joe has shown this season is a real plus point.Held the team together at times i feel.Another winter away and we could see another big improvement by him. Lewis on a 7.01 is a bit of a no brainer. Will up that with ease.Just can't afford to lose him to too many PL bookings. Cam i think will make the step up full time to PL Stef could be our number 1.Certainly would be a popular choice. Branford and Kerr are really good to watch around West Row also so i wouldn't mind seeing either of those lol With a 40 limit 1.Joe Jacobs 7.94 2.Josh Bates 5.30 3.Danny Halsey 6.57 4.Lewis Kerr 6.67 5.Lewis Blackbird 7.01 6.Nathan Stoneman 3.00 7.Josh Bailey 3.00 or 1.Stefan Nielsen 8.32 2.Josh Bates 5.30 3.Joe Jacobs 7.94 4.Aaron Baseby 5.26 5.Lewis Blackbird 7.01 6.Nathan Stoneman 3.00 7.Josh Bailey 3.00
  10. Louis was wrong to go up there..But..To say you can clearly hear him is pretty funny if i'm being honest. Having looked at the clips of the crash numerous times. The ref got the call right. If it had been the other way around and Stef was on the inside,i would fully expect him to be excluded. The rider in front can pick his racing line yes,but when both riders are level he can't. Total racing accident that has left the very unlucky Roynon injured.
  11. With regards to injuries we have had our fair share this season.Just happeneds that your injuries to riders have unfortunately come right at the end of the season. For the millionth time.He didn't crash into him.I have no idea what some of you are watching. Was as clear as day that Stefan was on the outside of Adam.Adam tried to block the move but unfortunately miss timed it and hit into Stef. The ref did the correct thing and looked at the recording to make the decision.I think you should do the same when the DVD gets released. You post very similar to someone on the Dudley facebook page.If you are the same person, you have no right to bring up people cheering riders falls. If you aren't the same then I apologise but you post identical. Anyway best wishes to Adam Roynon. No luck at all. well done to the lads from both teams who got on with it on a difficult track. Congrats though to the Mildenhall boys.Have done us proud all season.Chuffed to bits.
  12. Just stopped at a service station on the way.We chucked so many points away by over riding. The ref was shocking on a couple of occasions.Good to see a good number from Mildenhall there tonight. Wasn't impressed with the idiot in a super dry jacket in front of us who cheered like anything when Bates went flying in heat 2.Did notice he shut up when Perry went into the fence and unfortunately got injured. Other than that it was a decent atmosphere with no trouble.Fair play for getting through to heat 12 in the koc.Considering the track was getting very tricky.Looking foward to tomorrow
  13. We all thought Cam would be fit in time for the playoffs. So the promotion didn't replace him.His injury seems worst than 1st thought.By the time the promotion found this out,it was too late to sign another rider. This is why we are now using a guest for the remaining fixtures
  14. The parade at mildenhall was actually 10 mins early and the first race started at the stated 4.30 time I doubt they would have got through it all anyway.Poxy weather hey.
  15. Just seems a little silly to me..suppose there was an emergency and the 1 in the middle needed to go..Nightmare lol
  16. Who decided it would be a good idea to triple park the cars in the car park, leaving the car in the middle with no choice but to wait for either the one in front or the one behind to go?
  17. Guest only for a number 1 Damon afaik
  18. Can only agree with your comments Damon.Best wishes to Byron.Really nasty looking crash.Fingers crossed for him. Superb performance by the boys today.Everyone played their part.Great to see RTD having his best meeting for us.Deserved all the points he got. The track again was in superb condition, which produced some fast, close racing. Just need a new set of tapes and we will be well away. Well done lads
  19. Two enjoyable meetings that.Just a shame the poxy tapes in the 1st didn't want to play. 1st thing. The track was in superb condition.Considering there had been 30 heats of speedway there was no blue groove or anything.Looked as if it would have lasted a few more heats easily. A well prepared track provided some fast close racing.Only 4 out of the 30 times were over 53 secs says it all. How on earth Stefan got up from his crash is beyond me.Then to go and win his last 3 races, really was incredible if i'm honest. Fantastic choice of guest in Garrity.Looked very quick and is really exciting to watch when in full flow.Out after every race to congratulate the Mildenhall riders after their ride. You wouldn't have guessed he was only guesting for us. Really impressed with Joe and Danny today.Danny's ride to pass Ellis really was something special.Best ride i have seen in a very long time. Lewis was his normal reliable self.He really has upped it this season. Adam Ellis!! What a find this lad is.Fantastic style and super quick. Was unlucky not to score more in the 1st meeting.Whoever signs him in the NL next season will have a field day with him at reserve. Most young lads would have shut off on a couple of occasions, but no,we kept it wound on.Fair play to the lad. 30 heats.£12 admission.£2 for two full programmes.Superb value.Well done all for a top job today
  20. There aren't any PL fixtures for the 19th are there?
  21. I don't think we think like that at all.He clearly has potential to be a very good rider..any club would want him in their team..Especially on the average he currently has..There's quite a few riders about who I wouldn't mind seeing in a tigers jacket.Doesn't mean I expect them to sign for us.
