  1. Correct. They were actually missing 3 riders (Worrall,Kerr,Mallett) out of the top 5 so are allowed 2 guests and r/r.Hence Johnson,Kirby and r/r being used
  2. I'm hoping 1 day we won't have to call on him and can actually just call him a Mildenhall rider.Don't know 1 fan who doesn't like seeing him ride our place.
  3. The ref certainly had her moments today. The Morley and Branford incident was a strange 1.I didn't really see what happened.Just saw their bikes together. Heat 14 tbh was a terrible decision to exclude Kirby as he was clearly hit by Ryan. However there were 2 occasions where Adam should/could have been excluded for bend 1 incidents. Both times clearly leaning over to get across Baseby and Bates but was never going to get there. He pretty much laid on Baseby's seat.
  4. 1st of all fantastic stadium.Really impressive. Well done to the lads on the win. Couple of things though. Meeting dragged like anything. The tractor going around countless times was frustrating. Is there nobody else who could drive the other 1.Would save a lot of time.Especially when Kent have such a tight curfew. In general though there seemed to be no great rush to get the meeting run through.Anyone coming for the 1st time would have lost interest a little.Yes I know there were crashes but still.Should have got through the meeting a fair bit quicker Considering there was more shale put down the track seemed as bare as anything. The blue groove on the 2nd bend was huge by the end. The track itself is very 1 liney.Unless someone makes a mistake it seems very hard to pass. The speed of the meeting and the track preperation really do need to improve otherwise you won't finish the meeting before the curfew and could lose the fantastic size crowds you've been getting.Which really would be a shame. Also a shame that you can get close to the pit area or sit in half the stadium. Glad I went today to see the place but unfortunately I don't think I'll be going back in a hurry. Wish Kent all the best but they do need to improve things.
  5. "you wont see any interest on this train unless they are winning but bleating on other page how bad your track is i enjoyed tonight's match as a neutral ( wanting stoke to win ) and enjoyed not only our heathen boys performance but also another mildenhall fall from grace well done stoke the toms are ether bleating or cheating" Starting to get a little tired of the constant digs at Mildenhall tbh.Any opportunity to do so it seems.Need to move on i think, getting boring .Think you will find people are using facebook/twitter a lot more than coming on the forum.I find there is too much rubbish being said on here so i tend to stay away from it. Can't comment on the meeting itself as i was not there. Not exactly the biggest fan of the Stoke track to say the least,so wasn't going to spend my money on something i dislike.
  6. After his last ride it looked as if the paramedic went over to him.I think he had a knock a couple of meetings back.My guess is that he aggravated it and pulled out for the rest of the meeting. Cracking win for the lads today.Hand on heart i thought we would get a beating. Mucked up a couple of times and lost the points. So Ellis not coming out along with those mistakes i guess balance out. Armstrong yet again was superb value.A couple of brilliant 1st bends to allow his team mate through stood out. Good to see some old fashioned team riding by both teams today. Was nice to see. The whole meeting was really good aswell. Can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday and all for £12.Happy days
  7. I'm guessing he thought Robert Lambert would do a whole season when he said this.. Unfortunately it appears this whole situation is a whole load of bad press..Not what a club (especially a new 1) needs in these times
  8. Kent's problem with the line up started when 1 rider used up 1/4 of the points limit tbh. Releasing mason at least gives a little bit more points to play with.
  9. Unless Compton comes in on about a 5,Owen wouldn't fit unless further changes were made
  10. I know he lives a long distance away but, Liam Carr would be far better than any of the 3 pointers you have
  11. If there's more than a 1.22 between Mason and Compton maybe Gary Cottham could be fit enough after his injury to replace one of the 3 pointers?
  12. Good move imo.Mason is never going to improve. At least with Compton you have a rider with a chance of improving and will be a lot more exciting to watch.
  13. Enjoyed the meeting last night. There were some really good close races. Was really impressed with how much Lewis Rose has come on.If he could stay on the bike Lynn have a real trump card at reserve. Jacobs move and race in Ht13 againts Kerr is what this league is all about.Young riders going for it and progressing. I really wish people would give the NL a chance. Some of the best racing I've seen has come at NL level. They really are missing out on a good product. 1 final thing. The new announcer you have is something else.Gave us plenty to laugh about throughout the night. Plenty of entertainment for £10..What more could you ask for? Looking forward to Mildenhalls trip to the Norfolk Arena even more now
  14. 1st visit to Ipswich for a couple of years.Pretty decent meeting tbh. Impressed with Risager today.Certainly seemed on it. Ellis has so much potential. To think this is only his 2nd year racing and he's performing like that in the PL.Incredible really. Barker's ride where he came from last to 1st really was impressive.Worth the entrance fee alone. Will certainly be coming back at some point through the season.
  15. Think you'll find hardly anyone uses this now actually..Key board trolls zzzz
  16. Don't get how we were lucky to lose by 4 but ok Not the best meeting you'll ever see. With the weather being a bit hit and miss they had to play it safe with the conditions.Very much gate and go apart from a few heats. Good for the lads to get rid of the cobwebs. Congrats to Dudley on the win
  17. Can't imagine him coming cheap this season either if he does ride in the NL
  18. Personally, I'd rather see a highlight review show once a week, showing the best races from around the country from all 3 leagues.Rather this than sitting there watching a meeting where everything is won from the gate.I always end up turning the tv off if I'm honest before the meeting has ended.Would imagine anyone catching it by the off chance would do this also.By showing the best races it will get people more interested imo. They can show full meetings when the meeting itself is a big one (playoffs or riders championships)
  19. Plenty of advice off track yes. What about on it.Jon's ability to team ride and help the young lads on track will be so valuable imo
  20. I believe Branford is a Redcar asset. So we aren't poaching any of "your" riders
  21. Give it a rest.Riders move to different clubs all the time.Rob Branford is 1 of the most exciting riders to watch in the NL.Who wouldn't want him? Shame that he is giving the NL a miss next season.Always a popular visitor to West Row And anyway..I believe he is a Redcar asset not a Buxton one.
