  1. When I last looked the % chance was around the 80 mark. With the distance the Workington fans/riders were travelling it wasn't worth the risk. West Row does seem to have its own micro climate. I've been coming along the road to the track and it's been chucking it down. Get to the track and nothing.
  2. Bebee won't be an option. Still struggling after a crash last season
  3. We can't help how the weather effects the track at the end of the day. The track staff didn't choose to have it how it was yesterday. A massive downpour the day before soaked the track. They did a great job to get it to the condition it was. The previous week there were no issues so fingers crossed with a bit of luck with the weather it will go back to that again
  4. If it was that dangerous would he have not called it off?? The ref has the final say no?
  5. I had changed the topic title but it hadn't saved for some reason. Edited now
  6. 1. Dan Thompson 9.73 Leicester 2. Luke Harrison 3.00 Workington 3. Lee Complin 7.27 Mildenhall 4. Adam Roynon 6.00 Edinburgh 5. Jordan Jenkins 9.47 Oxford 6. Max James 3.00 Leicester 7. Luke Kileen 3.00 Oxford Team Total 41.47
  7. You can't help the weather. Impossible to keep chopping and changing the start
  8. The Fen Tigers 2023 team is complete! The Mildenhall DJS Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery are very pleased to announce that the final part of their 2023 team is 18 year old North Walsham racer William Richardson. William was a regular during 2021 practising at the club after meetings and took his place in the U21 Semi Final as an unattached rider in April 2022. After making an excellent start in his opening race he was clipped by another rider which resulted in a season ending leg injury. Now fully fit and raring to go the Norfolk youngster is determined to make a success of this opportunity. Everyone at the club will be fully supporting William as he makes his initial steps in league racing. William starts thason on a 3 point average. Let's give William a massive Fen Tiger family welcome!
  9. We are very happy announce that the sixth rider joining the Mildenhall DJS Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery for a second season following his excellent year with us in 2022 will be JOSH WARREN! Josh started the season as a three point reserve but nearly doubled his average raising it to 5.79 and cementing a place in the main body of the side! The 22 year old Peterborough based rider proved extremely popular with the supporters both on and off the track and we look forward to welcoming him back this season and progressing again. When speaking to Josh about the possibility of coming back to Mildenhall he said 'of course ...snap me in half and I'm Fen Tigers through and through'. That was good enough for us!!
  10. The Mildenhall DJS Fen Tigers, proudly sponsored by Manchetts Rescue and Recovery, are pleased to anounce their fifth signing for the 2023 season. It's a warm welcome back for 2019 Fen Tiger ARRAN BUTCHER. He also signed for the Fen Tigers for 2021 but a pre season injury saw him unfortunately miss out. 22 year old Arran spent the 2022 season at Oxford in the National Development League putting 1.36 on his average and we feel confident that Arran can increase his average again back at Mildenhall. Arran has made it quite clear he sees this as a big season & that speedway is his main priority. He will start the season in one of the reserve berths but is looking to push for a place in the main body of the team. Arran joins us on a 4.36 average.
  11. Tbf Baggy. Without that sponsorship that's happened in the last few weeks we 100% wouldn't have been running this season
  12. You can say that about any team signing a commonwealth rider can't you?
  13. Then it's the bspa not Mildenhall that need to answer that. Wasn't the clubs call to give him that was it lol
