Thats 3 months away at least - surely you can fit me in sometime before then, Mark ?
-
I'll call you whatever i like, i show my face clearly in my profile picture - unlike yours. I've also named myself in full on here. Do the same and we'll sort this out if you fancy it

Still fighting the demon drink eh Mark ? Opinion is what the speedway star readers were asked to give, and they chose chris over john- why is you giving an opinion any more legitimate ? p.rick
-
From the fool who said he wasnt replying anymore to Bwitcher about this subject at, what, 5pm last night ?
-
Because more people voted for Chris. Next question ?

That's interesting John. But take it onto private emails, as it's not relevant here. With you all the way here Rob, and not because of the Reading stance i have. Nielsen was ridiculous, but he did have challengers, definitely. He was also the first autograph i got in speedway, at the meeting when the lights went off at Smallmead when we led you lot 40-26 (why do i remember the scoreline!) and Wiggy rode round with a torch in his mouth. Cheers Tom

You've got too much time on your hands. However, Rolf Westerburg was one of two non riding reserves in the 1957 final. Jack Biggs was the other. Crutcher was unavailable on the day, injury i believe. I doubt the stats compiler will need your help to be honest..

Well said... The massive workload that went into putting all the info on there by a hugely dedicated bloke has to be applauded really...if that kinda stuff drives someone nuts maybe they want to have a crack at doing the job themselves. Cheers Tom

Wimbledon Stadium: Some Important News
The Doctor... replied to Parsloes 1928 nearly's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yes i'm sympathetic, but its life i'm afraid. Reading fans were just as apathetic once we lost the stadium and it was obvious the new one wasnt going to be built as agreed.. Yes there was a hardcore of fans who pushed and pushed, trying different avenues and rattling cages, but it was never going to go thru in a million years. If the club had run elsewhere in the meantime, it may have been a different story, but they didn't, and so its ended up with Smallmead effectively an overflow car park to the football stadium for years. Oh, and TWK, how can say he was trying to "wind up " speedway supporters, when your old friend Gustix repeatedly does that comparing speedway to other sports. Is that not winding up aswell ? Anyway, i'm back to work tonight, so you'll get some peace and quiet til tomorrow.. -
Ford is a wrong un. End of. A cancer on the integrity of the sport.

Helping his Dad vs earning money ? No contest, especially for a son who couldn't be bothered to fly home and be with his Dad in the first place.

Jason Crump Signed Print For Sale
The Doctor... replied to Max the rebel's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It just looks a bit cartoonish to me. Its a nice pic tho i guess, but it isnt 200 quids worth. I suggest you call the police on the people that sold you the frame for £50 aswell. In closing, i think there is a large spelling mistake in the print itself....... Keyme express couriers ? It was Keyne Express Couriers no ? -
Wimbledon Stadium: Some Important News
The Doctor... replied to Parsloes 1928 nearly's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
That's very threatening isn't it ? Implied or masked swearing, as you told me only a week or so ago is unacceptable - telling a forum member, to "something off" isn't good Ian. Can i ask when you last attended speedway btw? Just so i can grasp the level of offence you've taken in respect the original posters comments. Wimbledon speedway could have never been saved in the current climate. Believe me, having a track within sight of our apartment would have been lovely and i would have gone every week without fail, but no one was prepared to stump up the readies, plans, or business acumen to give any support to it staying as a viable greyhound / speedway venture. Afc Wimbledon have done that, and fought a very long winded, public battle to get where they are - i'm honestly not sure the speedway side of things can say theyve done the same. Even things as basic as running a decent support website hasn't happened on the speedway side of things. Dont get me wrong, its sad to see a historic speedway venue going, but its been gone for 10 years now already, which is plenty of time for supporters to get a campaign going. -
I hadnt seen him for a while so thought his balls had dropped or something and we were rid of him. Thanks for spotting it. I'm honestly not being sarcastic.

Wimbledon Stadium: Some Important News

I'm personally happy. Wimbledon football has been around perhaps 30 years longer than the speedway, and lets be honest, speedway could never have come back there. I'm just gutted for the banger racing community personally -
Parry's International Coaches
The Doctor... replied to steve roberts's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Yeh ok Rob.. can remember having a discussion with you a while ago when you were caught out and started bleating and whining. I don't profess to being a hardman at all, i just dont like certain folk and won't tolerate their nonsense. Your recent posts on another thread disgusted me to the point where i actually was close to posting a grossly offensive message to you but i thought better of it just in the nick of time. Anyway, you're nothing to me, so i wont waste anymore time on this post. I hope you have a really really enjoyable Christmas -

What did Catford speedway have to do with it then ? -

Excusing your comedy gold with old Gustix, can you both either contribute to the thread or do one ? Your holier than attitude does fall down on a thread like this. -
That sounds like a sensible timeframe i think.
-
Definitely - since i got up earlier i checked out the regs and some extra info, and it's not good reading. The medical officer who advises the Scb states that any loss of consciousness should be a 1 month break from the sport, and we all know that never happens, yet how many times do we hear about a rider being knocked out...
-
I doubt you'll get an answer here sadly, but would be interesting to know how many under 35s or 45s are still living at home on this forum, or being funded like you say.
-
Think last seasons regs only referred to the rider having to adhere to the time stated on his medical certificate, no specific length..
-
So you were a hospital porter then. Just checking. Thanks

Read my message again...slowly.
