I asked a simple question, get the chip of your shoulder. Starman, i said the last few months "i have not been following much " here due to work commitments - i was told at the time the details of the injury and i was wondering if there had been anything else said. Not quite sure of the relevance as why my forum name as the doctor should mean i need to go on facebook for the last 6 months or so ? Adults do often have to crack on with life rather than trawl facebook all day. I havent posted on here for yonks as thankfully some boneheads were banned and the forum returned to some sort of normality. To sum up, thank you both for your insightful replies - there's been no update, i get it.

I think John claimed some time ago that he only did all that to stir up debate on a thread by increasing the number of posts, but the thing was, the thread was actually moving on nicely enough without him doing all that. Looking back at it now, it actually looks like the behaviour of someone with psychosis.

Good post. Bobbath as a reasonably new poster is not quite as guilty as gustix and others on this forum, but the constant nitpicking is hugely disrespectful to genuine historians and individuals who put in long hours to put a permanent record of the sport pre internet, out there in the modern world. Any nerd can pick up on a frankly miniscule bit of detail when it suits their agenda, but they dont actually want to put themselves out there to do the real donkey work that other fine individuals put in, in order to serve their unhealthy obsession in the first place. If you were the original author i would have been just as critical, but the fact that you trumpeted your journalistic skills quite often over the years here, its only right that i queried it surely ?
