  1. I'd love a bit more info on those "plenty of football grounds here" Rob.
  2. Nothing changes over the years with him sadly. When he was one of those boneheaded mexicans at Belle Vue all those years ago he was a prat, and it seems nothing has changed.
  3. Indeed - in his later Poole days, Tony Rickardsson was on £125 a point. That was years ago so it's quite possible for a top rider to do 4-5k with two meetings a week nowadays. Btw Starman, my source was the rider himself. So please don't try to tell me otherwise. Cheers
  4. Sorry but you just ASSUMED he was talking about Wolves. He was doing no such thing. How about holding up your hands and saying you mis read the post.
  5. I'm not too fussed either way, but i can see how he must wind up the Bspa even just with the way he words things. Within one breath of accepting their offer he stomps in saying he wants to be involved with the choice of team mate...i can imagine them sitting reading his email and thinking, oh screw this, he's trying to take over already..let's not bother.
  6. Didn't the magazine seller who looks like a farmer in his latest picture say that KK would be top of the averages or some other such guff a few months back ? I may be mistaken, just checking.
  7. Yep. Was a pile of waste set alight at a storage yard. Lfb have confirmed this. Defo not the stadium itself.
  8. It's very odd that you seem to pipe up when it suits your agenda at having a pop at one poster. I do the same with Gustix but at least i admit it. You sound like you're a wannabe bouncer fighting battles for Bv fans and everyone should be scared of you. Very very strange.
  9. Debate ? Magnificent book anyway by the resident Mr Gibbons. Was a great present for me a christmas or two back.
  10. Re the Arsenal redevelopment, it was only the facades that were listed - i lived next to the ground during those days and it was odd seeing them demolish 99.9 of the stadium and literally left a ten foot wide outer skin of the east and west stands. Quite a bizarre sight. Re the hoover building, still looks lovely from the outside as you pass it on the A40 - not so good round the other side...been a tesco for donkeys years.
  11. One of those mentioned is Gibson Park, in East Belfast - literally a couple of streets from where i was brought up and family still live. Going back in a few months for the 12th so will make some enquiries,. Tom
  12. Oh my days... tell him about the time he was seen in a knocking shop in Bydgoszcz while you're talking to him aswell if you could please.
  13. Shov put the periscope on to show something - i'm disagreeing with your comments. If you want this to get messy, carry on.
  14. It didnt look too dusty on Shov's periscope. Yeh there is dust.. but i'd hardly call it a dust bowl. Good grief - did you have a bad pint or something tonight ? Bit embarassing all the effing and jeffing and editing of posts from you tonight.. Drink water before bed, it'll help.
  15. I was away for the weekend celebrating my birthday - just checking, did i miss you being made a mod ?
  16. Hence the apparently - one would hope grasstrack and sidecar experts on the list would have piped up before now and not relied on someone doing a reverse image search on google to point them in the right direction
  17. Here's a link of the article, apparently from Altrip in Germany, mentioning the injured parties Imanuel Schramm and Lydia Neuendorf. 2011 http://www.speedweek.com/grasbahn/news/20387/Imanuel-Schramm-Saison-beendet.html
  18. I think the point is that cutting and pasting articles is daft unless you actually know what you're pasting.
  19. Right ok, you've updated everyone on your childish ongoing spat with him - this is the Rye thread, so let's keep your squabbles out of it eh.
  20. Its not exactly thousands we're talking is it ? Stop being negative Starman. A table for some programmes on the other turnstiles, sort out the bulbs, and advertise for a volunteer steward to help out in the car park. Temporary food outlets will no doubt be sniffing around as word gets out about the big crowds anyway, so i'm sure the club will have no shortage of local vans or the likes wanting to set up stall. The original poster wasnt asking for a fully equipped restaurant. Rye sound like theyve got a pro active management team so i'm sure they will address these glitches in due course. I'm looking forward to my first trip to Rye for a few years later this month.
