The End Of The Poole Pirates?
The Doctor... replied to Knightime's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Neither would i. I was referring to paperboy arrogantly saying that this was "just a blip in proceedings" Two seasons without winning something and shambolic home form this year for Poole should be a cause for concern tho, -

Two seasons is a pretty big blip.. -
Nice one.. i asked him about the work permit situation and was told to p off..

Exactly, weren't some of these same people having kittens when Ford enabled KK to swan off to Rye just a few days back saying he was crazy to let it happen... Both of these riders, once they had been shamed (albeit not named specifically) in the Lynn press release after the debacle a few weeks back, should have had the brains to know they were sitting ducks to be made mugs of, especially with so many riders kicking their heels on the sidelines. Twitter is worth a laugh tonight.. Batch has blocked me already, Holder soon i'm sure.

Yet you bring him up on every thread anyway ? Odd behaviour from a grown man. It's "peaceful" by the way. And "stirring". Kind regards.

I've got no interest either way really. I merely said are they not perhaps getting the right info. I think you lot need to not be gloating about anything when it could easily bite you firmly on the bums.
-
You need to calm down... just getting in early before you have a breakdown..
-
Whatever they're upto is being announced at 8.30 on twitter... put all sharp objects away just in case it is KK. It's KK....

With respect, if things like that "ends up getting to you in the end" I think perhaps you may have a little too much time on your hands. The season has gone for your team for the first time in yonks, just enjoy what's left of the season and be thankful you have a track to go to. Something myself and others don't have the luxury of.
-
It may well do, but you're getting a tad carried away saying Matt Ford has mucked up next season when nothing has happened yet.
-
Gosh considering this is a rumour from pretty much nothing, with zero confirmed, you're getting your knickers in a right old twist here.
-
Are they not just mis hearing the rumours of Kasper Lykke or whatever his name is returning to them.

The Doctor... replied to Sidney the robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Goodness.. you're back onto the that little story that you've made up - as many others have said previously, please show me where i claimed to have the shirt of a rider i've despised since he came over. Poole is still on my list, but sadly foreign holidays are taking preference over jaunts to the seaside to see you lot getting trounced and bashing up the local village idiots. Don't worry tho, if you dont run out of fixtures, you will see me don't worry Edit as i see you've edited you post. Well done, you admitted you read it wrong. That wasn't hard was it - no need to cover up with lie. -

You really are the gift that keeps on giving... You do know that when someone makes a simple mistake like you did, its quite acceptable to simply style it out and say "my bad, i read it wrong.. sorry folks !" and move on... no one would even bat an eyelid. -

So your reply to someone saying wow he won heat 13, was And heat 15. But you're now covering it by saying it was just that he was riding in it ? Oh my days... -

Blimey. Thanks for the starting this thread...1990 was my first season aswell. I still remember Lee's debut aswell - what a turnaround. My 1-7.. 1. Per - along the lines of what you said, when he gated, it was frankly boring! Go on Per, miss the start... reel them in! 2. Dave Mullett 3. Jan Andersson 4. Janusz - i remember his first ride, running a last i think, but riding in such way that had everyone so excited.. an amazing rider for us in the short time he was with us. 5. Todd - my all time favourite rider. 6. Matej Zagar 7. Andrew Appleton Rider i wished we'd signed... - i'll also say Crump - as a rider i did not like him one bit, but i will always remember him guesting for us multiple times when Per was injured and he spoke so sincerely on the PA at Reading letting us know he would cover Per as much as he could as he respected him so much. I can remember being choked as he said it all those years ago, and to be honest it still chokes me a bit now. Special mention for Mr Phil Morris who was a talisman for us both on and off track for years, and i will always be thankful to him and forum member Big H for saving me from a beating at the hands of a large number of workington fans one night on a northern tour at that pub they all went to after the meetings up there! And of course, there can only be one team manager... Tim Sugar. Unassuming, tactically astute and most certainly a legend as far as the history of the club goes. Cheers Tom.

Cardiff 2017
The Doctor... replied to james1234's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Past tense. I was part of the fuel team at Cardiff for a good few years with fellow forum members Rico, Henry W, and Mateusz. Nothing flash, but was an nice experience for us all. Guaranteed accommodation at decent rates, a bit of pin money for the actual work, and all areas passes - and still the chance to meet Scb, Shovvy, and many others in the Prince of Wales before the meeting aswell for a beer. Good memories.. -

It's usually revealed in the after meeting press conference - it certainly was in the days when i was helping at the gp... Phil Rising may be able to confirm if it still happens now. -
Rode for Eastbourne i believe.. not up to date with my NL but i think that was it.
