Having been with Robert the day he broke his femur, if broken femur was the initial diagnosis the femeral artery run along that bone and they wouldn't move the injured rider until the leg was placed in a splint incase the artery was severed. In Roberts case it was near an hour before he was moved. Oz Championships 2013-14
chopper replied to Primary Chain's topic in International World of Speedway
. Certainly will be Mick Hargraves was there as he has been for the last 20 odd years I will pm you his email. As per usual the Gillman track put on an excellent meeting and your correct that runoff was worth the admission alone. Crowd looked good, I hear Undera had a record crowd so things are looking good for the solo scene in Australia. Chopper -

Yes can confirm that is correct they will try to put it back into place tommorow , hopefully without an operation. Cheers Chopper -
Sounds like another good nights racing, I see Charlie broke the track record what was the old one , Robert then had a time only .2 slower than that so credit to the track curator for producing a fast track. Chopper

All irrelevant really , the decisions been made so good luck to Sarge . Chopper

You can't please everyone that's life, I won't get into a slanging match on here, no I won't be over there anymore as much as I've enjoyed my time over there I have had to go back to earning a living but it's all water under the bridge now and Robert will move on keep racing and hopefully realise his potential. Cheers Chopper

It's fair to say Robert has had some major injuries perhaps they have held him back, whether he progresses any further remains to be seen but thanks to the Leciester supporters that gave him support. Chopper

Coventry Vs Isle Of Wight 19 July 2013
chopper replied to markyb's topic in National League Speedway
No excuses but he may have been frustrated at getting his second flat tyre for the night and costing coventry a chance of a win.I will tell him to not give a s--t next time , he cares about his team is that a crime. Chopper -
Not at present it isn't , might be when he gets his new average.Robert has shot himself in the foot for guesting himself although it helps Coventry . Chopper

Don't be sad, I've been to many a NL meeting with my association with Robert over the past 3 years and I know where my money would be going given the choice. If you can get to Milldenhall Sunday as well, that will be a cracker. Chopper
-
For sure mate I know he loves riding there and gets on well with the fans and promotion. Chopper

Great to hear of a big crowd turning up to watch Nl racing, I'm sure in time the track will get sorted, and with a solid top 3 Kent will push most sides. Robert loves getting the call from Milldenhall and enjoyed the chance to ride the new track. Chopper
