  1. he tends to ride the white line so i thought he would get swallowed up but he seems to generate some speed down low
  2. He looks a bit lost on track. Maybe he needs to focus on riding his own race rather than try to block opponents all the while
  3. Rowe seems to be riding with a fair bit of maturity. Maybe has Lambert's temperament
  4. He seems to have got the set up nailed. Depends if it's prepared in the GPS the same as in the league
  5. can’t blame riss for diving. he was unsettled by Freddie’s aggressive move up the inside but you have to feel for Brum, especially Brennan who was excellent.
  6. thought Kurtz was lucky to get all 4 back twice. surely if you are on the outside you need to back off if gating alongside gate 3, otherwise it gives that rider a free run
  7. kurtz jumped that one. ref not pulling anything back
  8. not a track expert by any means, but looks as though they dumped a load of water on the surface which seemed to spoil the first 4 heats. shouldn’t they try to get the moisture into the track rather than leave it on the surface? once a rider was behind they just seemed to get filled in which has meant some poor racing so far.
  9. i thought a dislocated shoulder was 3 months out
  10. Wasn’t there a big rut on bend 2 that threw Dan Thompson off in the SON2 leading to a dislocated shoulder? The same rut that nearly caused a couple of other accidents on Friday night. Completely agree that the track came good for the final and that it is a great racetrack if you prefer your speedway flat out.
  11. So it’s in the Witches interests to keep Rew’s average lower than Thompsons
  12. i wonder if they will try to iron out that rut on the first bend for the main event. made the track dangerous to ride causing this accident and several near misses.
  13. what are the options to replace D Thompson assuming he is injured? another rising star only?
  14. rainfall radar doesn’t look promising. track covers might have been a better investment than the temporary stand
  15. think we would prefer a rider with experience of the UK tracks; sheffield and belle vue.
  16. not strong enough at reserve to trouble the teams above though
  17. a relief to hear that Tate is staying upbeat and an admirably humble and thoughtful post under the circumstances i look forward to seeing him return next year, undeniably one of the hottest prospects on the scene
  18. apart from not being able to penalise riders for jumping the start
