  1. I find it very annoying that attendences aren't published as well. Needless to say they're on the decline though. I asked Jon Cook what Eastbourne's average was and he said it was about 1000. Not great for one of the biggest clubs in the country
  2. Just to clarify things... Team Dalakraft (previously known as 'Gasarna') is the 2nd team to Masarna, it´s not actually Masarna under a new name. Both teams runs their home meetings in Avesta. Same with Team Bikab which is the 2nd team to Smederna, both runs at Eskilstuna. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thanks, Anders, I thought perhaps Grave was getting a bit confused there (although thanks for trying Grave). So what were Team Bikab and the Luxo Stars formerly known as?
  3. Could someone tell me what the Luxo Stars/Team Svelux used to be called when they had a proper name? Also, Team Bikab, Team Dalacraft and any others. Cheers
  4. Thanks for the info, guys. So how did Rider Control work then?
  5. Could some of the more "experienced" members of the site kindly set me straight on how team strengths have historically been regulated (or not regulated) in the British Leagues? I've only ever known the current system of a points limit to riders' combined averages (or grades), but when did this start? I gather too there was formerly a similar system, controlled centrally by the BSPA (?) to redistribute certain riders who had made their teams too strong (or something like that) but I've forgotten what this was called. When did any form of regulation begin, and were teams previously able to track anyone they liked? In a similar vein, when did teams first have to declare a line-up for the season? And when did the guest system first get used? Did teams have to make do with bringing juniors in previously? A lot of questions, I know, but the answers wold be much appreciated to help understand the history of these more intricate and awkward rules of our great sport. Cheers
