Rye House ace Stuart Robson has agreed a short-term deal with Swedish Elite League outfit Luxo Stars. The Malilla-based outfit have been given special permission to make a signing after losing Mikael Max with a broken thigh and Robson has been drafted in for the rest of this season. The former British No. 2 has had a terrific season in the Premier League for Rye House this year, the Hoddesdon side purchasing him off Elite League club Coventry in the winter. He will make his debut in Tuesday's away meeting at Vargarna. Robson said: "Andreas Jonsson recommended me and Peter Karlsson and Tomas Topinka also put a good word in. Well that put the cat among the pigeons. Star Lady, if I understood about deferred success I would be able to comment but what I do believe in is that you dont knock someone if they are trying. The kid that doesn't win the egg and spoon race on sports day shouldnt be sat in the corner but praised for his own personal acheivement. I am passionate about sport and my Country and believe it or not I do want to win but I dont start calling for the executioner because we didnt win gold (not saying you did by the way). Yes, these guys were the ones chosen to represent their Country but I dont think it crossed their minds to say "no, because if I dont win I will be branded a failure"!! Are Germany, Australia, the Czechs and Russians team bashing on their forums (if they had them) probably not. There was no way we were going to win last night the Poles were just superb, 3rd place would have been brilliant but it didnt happen. Agree with you there Star Lady but not sure about Havvy!!! Why is it that many British supporters feel the need to total demolish the hard work put in by our GB boys. For those that havent read general discussion - Dave Warner passed away after being taken poorly before the 1st Round meeting at Swindon on Sunday.
