  1. Will you please give it a rest. Rubbing our noses in it! I spent sometime this afternoon with a young aussie rider who is flying home on friday and all he could do was whinge about how cold it is but how warm he will be soon whilst we freeze our ***** off - I cant repeat the words he used! . Why do you all have to be so cruel! I dont normally mind the cold weather but with you and skinny aus going on about sunshine I really feel like I need a summer holiday now!! It really has got to me this year. ITS NOT FAIR!
  2. Do you guys have a live updates site out there. I am very keen to keep up to date with Roo Boy and cant trust him to e-mail me so want to get as much info as possible from the 'local's Can anyone help a poor useless fairy!!!!
  3. Give the guy a chance you two. He is now sat at home going - whats a TR or a TS!!!! Tactical Ride Tactical substitution but i will let someone with more time explain their use!!!!!
  4. I dont doubt it Iris but as far as we were concerned it was buildings, architecture etc that took our eye!
  5. GRRRRRRRRRR - Sometimes Steve I just want to ........... Okay - so Poole has the seaside BUT this mini holiday idea can work elsewhere. Tell me where the beach is in Prague or Copenhagen - other international speedway venues? These Citys offer culture not water! I went to Prague again as I loved the City, the architectural styles, the beauty of the town. The same with Copenhagen (but to a lesser degree) Brandon is close to Stratford Upon Avon and Warwick both steeped with history and culture. As for the atmosphere - its like a broken record with you. Because YOU dont like it, you think nobody else could possibly like it either - WRONG STEVE! We like it and plenty of others like it to- including some Poole fans. The ONLY problem with Brandon is the facilities close to the stadium. But you have never had a problem with TGI's as far as Im aware.
  6. But Steve Shovlar doesnt want it there - so it wont be!
  7. Im am just sat here shaking my head, nearly speechless that you could even consider typing such untruths on a family forum You should all be ashamed with yourselves if you think drink is the answer!!!
  8. That was just a silly reply kevin. You are not using grammar properly now are you! Go back and read it again. Spacebaby - people seem to stay all over the place. Last year we stayed in the Andel where the Travel Plus tour group stayed as well. And just to p**s off Crazy Sue - WE HAD A SUITE with tea and coffee and slippers and robes and it was jolly nice!!!! But this was on the otherside of the river to the main town. You need to look back at last years thread and pick out the names of the hotels everyone used. Then do some googling and see what suits you.
  9. I doubt it. Although I would love it there. There is no money to make as the club does not get any ticket sale money and any profit is made through secondary spending - ie: bars and food. Compare that to a highly successful dogs night and it doesnt sound like a good business venture. BUT maybe his heart may rule his head. Heres hoping What were YOU doing at Oxford on Friday then. Forgot to go home after thursday!? As for dissing Swindon - utter tosh. According to you the only track in the Country good enough for anything is Poole.
  10. Well you guys better be fit enough the following day to type!! We will need full and comprehensive reports on this forum ASAP and photos (if you know what I mean!). So please dont forget the guys back home - please!!
  11. That is correct and the home town of 'Chez Fairies'. There is also the beautiful Cotswolds Countryside in the area as well. Remember that Brandon is in the beautiful County of Warwickshire not Coventry. I fear SS will now find something to say about that!!!! Poole has zimmer frames, grey rinses and Rabbit. Only one out of three is worth coming down for! Plus its far to close to the mother-inlaws for my liking!!
  12. As Gansta has said - Best wishes to himand his family. It did not look pretty and suspect the planned holiday next week will be put on hold. And Mum - it was Nikki and I who looked after Katie (?) and Morgan for you. Hope you didnt spend too long in hosptial waiting rooms but if you did I hope the girls were good as promised!!!
  13. Sue - think positive thoughts, add that to a little bit of fairy dust and you never know what can happen. Next year is a life time away for you at the moment. Dont sell those tickets yet Miss Ipswich Fairy xxxx
  14. Dont push it Woody otherwise your Cardiff weekend could be your last!
  15. To many exciting things to do here before he goes home!
  16. Congratulations to Seb. I knew it was two titles, didnt realise the czech one was his as well. But I am not sure about the thread title either. (Mod Note - Correct! changed as it was trolling plus moved to correct section, thanks) F4E's Note -your welcome!
  17. This will be Rory's first ride out. He doesnt get the all clear to ride until 1st december (if memory serves me correctly). And he's not back into Aus until mid November.
  18. And Sebastian Ulamek has had a pretty good week too!
  19. I'm hoping that I will also need something to prop me up!
  20. Not a happy bunny. Hard luck to all the Belle Vue and Coventry Fans that couldnt get to phone for a few hours. DISCRIMINATION I say!!! But also not happy as Uni students will be in their exam period at this stage and as Nikki is final year I dont know if she will be able to go. Its a family thing - unhappy bunny.
  21. Need to book early though Sub for many of these events. I tried to book a couple of hotels in Cardiff and was told there was already no room as a large speedway event had block booked large numbers. Plenty more places though elsewhere.
  22. But we do know how skint we are at the end of the month!
  23. Wish I was going to lonigo now. Roman Povazhny is a favourite in this household!! Give him a cheer for us Chivs!
