You may want to read through this thread. It may say 'tickets' but like all threads it has evolved. http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...showtopic=23695 We will be in the 'Brda', but once youve read the whole thread you'll get a better idea of who's gonna be where.

Reading Host World Cup?
Sandie replied to Rema & Ben's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
They do unfortunately when the TV rights bring in a substantial amount of income which when broken cost a lot more money. Maybe discussions should take place 1 or 2 years in advance allowing time to plan properly. Any normal business would be projecting like this so why not speedway -
Reading Host World Cup?
Sandie replied to Rema & Ben's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Sorry Rema or Ben, I still feel we are exactly where we were yesterday. Subject to stadium approval. Whilst I dont think Reading is suitable this year I wish they would just get on and confirm it without any 'subject to' rubbish. -

Thanks JD - Thats what I was getting at. There has to be a date when the final decision is yes or no. As you say P & P seems like the most suitable date. I can imagine the press release saying that the announcement of the WC will be on 8th March during P & P - good way of getting in a few more local papers. Personally I think it's all a bit late but there is nothing we can do about that! -

Premier Travel Inn Price Increase
Sandie replied to holbeachfans's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Taken from Premier travel Inn terms and conditions: Premier Travel Inn reserves the right to review its room prices from time to time. If you make a reservation more than one month in advance, the quoted room price may change before the date of your stay at Premier Travel Inn. Although Premier Travel Inn aims to inform you before it makes price increases, Premier Travel Inn reserves the right to charge the room price current on the arrival date or you may cancel the reservation without charge. Unfortunately it would appear you dont have a leg to stand on. Sorry -
Thats good could he couldnt spend his bribery money if you gave him Euro's in Poland!!!

World Cup To Be Staged At Reading
Sandie replied to scabby3's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Well Cardiff can fit in if you look at the lack of events between the 26th June and 29th August. Maybe they have got a good deal. Also any events they have after the GP are concerts so is there any way some part of the track can remain in place? I am only speculating here but maybe there is a possibility. Not sure I would be too keen though as its fine for a GP but after the fun at Swindon last year I would want a bit more terraces atmospere. -
Chivs At the end of the day just threaten him with an evening with me and he will be as good as gold!

But I hear Polish vodka can make you very poorly so it's probably worth writing the sick note for school now and going back to school on the Tuesday or Wednesday!!

Dont cancel anything just yet Tone deaf. There is ages before this meeting and possibly up to two more schedulings to go before the flights. I am banking on more changes so dont cancel yet

This is a great thread but I cant believe we are all discussing the LAST GP of the year. Nikki and I keep talking about it and then I suddenly tell her her to shut up!! Its as though we are wishing the season away too quickly and it hasnt even started yet! But then again it looks like its going to be my only foreign GP now. The girls have other plans

Lupus I know your passionate about your club and I accept that 100% but I have a question for you and anyone else that would like to answer - If Karlsson and Lindgren moved to Coventry (or Poole, or Swindon or ANO) and they were replaced by Nicholls, Harris, Richardson - to name a few, where would your loyalties be then? Its not a catch question it highlights the club or Country theory? And before everyone starts its purely hypothetical and it isnt my intention to start a debate on why Wolves would never buy these riders!!!

World Cup To Be Staged At Reading
Sandie replied to scabby3's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
According to two greyhound sites: Smallmead is 3,500 whereas Blunsdon (last years 1st round venue) only had a capacity for 2,000. Would love to know how they worked that out. I am sure between the Mexicans and the fairies alone there were more than 2,000 of us last year!!! -

Sandie replied to scabby3's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Its okay for us Brits - we will travel around on the day but I do feel sorry for our international friends booking flights and hotels. I know its a small Country but booking a hotel in Poole and flying into Coventry isnt much fun when the meeting ends up in Reading!!! -

Dont think you'll find it's Coventry - not this late in the day. Mr Sandhu has too many TV contracts for the dogs and I doubt if he will break these at such a late stage. Maybe they are talking 2007!? -
Flight times changed again. Outbound on the Thursday is now 12.30pm (Original time was 10.30am then it was moved to 6.35pm) Return time is still 10.05pm but I cant see Ryan Air leaving an aircraft on the ground for 5hours. Any one want to start a sweepstake on the final slot times!!!
