good! Now need the fixture list to start planning!

LOL - this makes me laugh. I don't know frosylion nor do I know Steve Ribbon or anything about he Mildenhall problem. But what I do know is that we have person after person complaining on the 100's of Peterboro / Coventry threads complaining that no one is telling them anything and they should be more open. Then you get Steve Ribbon putting his side of his story and he gets slated. Funny old world

hehhhee!! Unlucky!!

I know nothing of the background of Mr Ribbon and Im not really that interested but can someone answer me a couple of questions please - T he terms were – A £5,000 payment for ‘League membership’ Surely membership implies that there is a group of people all bound by the same rules and terms and conditions.Do all clubs have to pay this membership. A £5,000 payment for the ‘promotional rights’ Again same question - do all clubs pay this and if not how would the BSPA use this £5,000. And someone said on another thread that the NL isnt managed by the BSPA - so why is it implied that the BSPA have said NO to the re-entry of Milldenhall. With all this Coventry/ Peterboro fiasco you really would have thought the BSPA would be ultra careful in any decision made from now on. Does any of the statement from Mr Ribbon indicate anything unconstitutional? I dont know - anyone have any FACTS to back up either side of the argument?

Not read any post more than two lines long - I get bored easily. But has anyone suggested that any possibly meeting may have been cancelled today. Many roads in this area have been impassable and it depends on who should have been at this meeting. As for the 'Official Statement' yes its slightly tongue in cheek but if I remember last year a very similar news article was placed on our club site as well as many other clubs. All very similar in content and style. Cant wait for the other clubs to start posting theirs!!!

So pleased you told me this - I thought a few people out their actually liked Coventry. But you know best - thanks for telling me. And personally I'm nothing like our owner (No 's' on the end there - Mr Sandhu is the only owner!) - He's male, slightly taller than me and unless Im very much mistaken of a completely different ethnic background to me And my uptake on the possible return - The BSPA and Coventry will both put out a press statement which favours themselves. Those who have been blaming Coventry will continue to do so and pick parts from the BSPA press release to support it and those supporting Coventry will continue to do so and pick things out from the Cov press release to support it also. No one will have their view swayed and we will have another 5 threads each with a different angle and view point!! Roll on March!

This is the planned schedule, pencil it in but remember things do change according to elements beyond our control. But hopefully its all good. I know many fans will be disappointed that we cant get to their track, but Im rather grateful that the mileage will be coming down a fair bit this year and the days off work minimum - these tours are hard work but so worth doing. No doubt Mr Evans will make the next tour Edinburgh then Isle of Wight then Glasgow etc etc!!!!

I reckon you guys should change your start times so it isn't so inconvenient for us Brits. Your young folk (and a few not so young!) want places in the British league so I reckon its the least you could do for us! Okay, okay - its 1am and I'm over tired. Night night

Already being run here - http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=59151&pid=1837579&st=0&&do=findComment&comment=1837579 Bit of a strange title but content is there. Maybe a merge would be good. -
We shouldnt go with anything that is currently used by a British team IMO I like thunder though Just reading the list above I keep reading Baltimore OREOS!!! Now that takes the biscuit and will do for me!

American Touring Team Final Schedule
Sandie replied to SteveEvans's topic in National League Speedway
Steve does an excellent job of putting this tour together, ably assisted by Romie (Mrs Castro) and yes, its a bit scary waiting for the schedule. We (and yes I include myself in this) put a lot of effort into these tours but have an absolute fantastic time doing them. This year we have our driver Colin who has done more miles than all of Eddie Stobbarts drivers put together! We have Andy Hale and Tricia - Andy is loading and unloading bikes like there is no tomorrow and driving around Manchester without a sat Nav!!!! Whilst Tricia gives up her driveway, the street and her washing line to help the boys scrub up ready for the next meeting!! Laurence Rogers - seems to fit 10 working days into 7! Whilst Lora and I potter around selling bits and pieces and cheering on the magnificent 7. Then there are of course the British (and American) mechanics that seem to come out of the woodwork just when you need them. I love doing these tours - they are very hard work, getting home at 2am and up at 7am for work - but what we get back from the experience time after time after time is worth it so very much. We all love them but couldn't do more than 2 a year!!! Sorry Vicar - I woz there - but don't have time to keep a programme at these meetings. Hope someone else can help. -
I know travelling is difficult around the London area but I do highly recommend that you get there for the USA meeting. Although we have yet to get a win we have had 4 great meetings. And one to watch this tour has been young Bryce Starks - not sure he knows how to slow a bike down! They are all wonderful Americans and each of them are very charismatic. Shawn McConnell is a legend and is great to watch Eddie Castro is simply amazing - I sometime wonder if he is really 51 years old. Go and see him in the pits - he just loves to chat to fans. And whilst your there ask him about the bruise on his arm - poor Eddie Tyson Burmister - is getting better and better. This is his third tour and we are aware of a few promoters keeping an eye on him this tour. And then there is Robbie Sauer, John Marquez and mike Buman - each rider enjoying their experience and scoring points important to the team. Please come and support these guys. Oh and put a few pennies in your pockets - touring Merchandise for sale - Mugs £5 (signed by the riders) Prog Boards £5 Pens £1 stickers 50p Look for the USA flags - that's where we will be.

American Touring Team Final Schedule

Steve is having internet problems and says there's only so many Big Macs a boy can eat!!! I cant really comment on the racing last night as I didn't get to see much, to busy selling to those wonderful Sheffield fans who wanted to buy lots to support the boys. We started the day with a trip to Buxton for some practice and then over to a slightly bigger track at Sheffield! An emotional start to the evening as this was a meeting to celebrate the life of Kelly Moran and with family and friends there Kelly's ashes were scattered along the start line. Not a big points haul last night but the boys seemed to sort the track out quite well but Robbie (I think it was) suffered bike problems and hopefully will get it all sorted by today. So Plymouth here we come, where I hope the boys will enjoy a lot more. Tyson and Eddie (and probably Shawn McConnell) have ridden here before so hopefully will perform well. I hope that Eddie's fan club are there again tonight! And then on to Weymouth the following day. Make sure the sun shines down south please and see you all there.
