It was like a portacabin (in fact it WAS a portacabin) with water all over the floor and no where to hook your bag and the bottoms of your jeans dragged in this 'water'. Absolutely horrid. When are we going to get a confirmed venue - was it shazzy or Rabbit that laughed about getting a text message in Poland telling them of the next secret location - I am beginning to think they may be closer to the truth!!

Very confussing. Weve got Phil who obviously has an extra interest in this meeting saying its clear and Spin King saying there has been snow - both in the same area!!!! I am now confussed. Having had my husband stuck in the snow for 24 hours before it does not fill me with any great enthusiasm to make this trip - life threatening springs to mind!!! But I will go along with Phil's post that the weather is fine. And pray it's not just hype to get us there. Edit - Thanks for that Krissie - I was typing whilst you were posting - it makes more sense now

Yep agreed. Dont think I have heard Phil complain about weather updates on the hundreds of meeting threads in the past. I understand your involvement Phil and maybe you feel talk of weather will have an affect on numbers (which I doubt). But at the end of the day we will all make our own decisions about whether to travel or not using information gathered from our Forum friends as well as the weather sites. Also every weather report is bringing this topic back up to the top so maybe you should be pleased we are talking about it!!

Rabbit - It was ruddy freezing. The wind was whistling around the stadium. Couldnt wait to get into the bar and warm up. Why does speedway start so early? Mr C - That counts me out then!! That said - Weather permitting we will be there on Sunday!!!

No way - Im going for the comfort of a wind protected stand. Having stood on the Centre Green at Brandon this afternoon I have no intention of being exposed to the elements again for a while. And that was just for a few photo's!!!! It may be dry and I pray to God it is - but there is no doubt it will be bloody cold!!!
