Possibly. I thought it said - 'didnt deserve to be there' - not that he WONT be there. But as you wear an 'I Hate the GP Series' badge you will be able to use that argument till the cows come home wont you Sub!!!! -

Reading's Back Straight Stand
Sandie replied to Dave Stummings's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
You make it sound so simple. This is a Dog meeting that has Satalite TV coverage and is contracted. Busting that contract would mean the club making a HUGE loss. The BSI needs to plan ahead. Get the 2007 venues sorted now and even forward plan for 2008. Then our sport wont look so silly in a run down stadium with no facilities and amenities. (again - sorry reading fans but it does need work) -
Round 1 + 2 Line-ups Announced
Sandie replied to Silver Bee's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
This was always gonna be a difficult choice with a lot of Aussie riders doing so well at the moment. Obviously I am made up that Rory has the spot cause like Adam he has been riding out of his skin recently. I am smiling huge smiles on the inside but as I feel sorry for those left out I have contained my excitement. -

This was the whole- will it, wont it - issue that has caused the announcing of the venue to be held back. I remember reading that Reading had to bulldoze it if they wanted any chance of the world Cup being there and the ground made good. But then everything went quiet. Anyone in the know got any official information???? -

A Great Weekend
Sandie replied to Young Saint's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Posslethwaite was given a copy on Saturday - and by all accounts he was not a happy bunny. Nor were the staff at our hotel as they happily made 20 or so copies of it for us which were duly handed around to as many clubs as we knew had forums that would post it. Ran out of copies to quickly though. -
El Pairs
Sandie replied to SteveEvans's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Well said Lupus. And so that Steve can assure us its the rules that are cr*p and not Poole - just tell us Steve that if there were two factors different here - a) If points were equal - the team that beat the other team on equal points go through and for the sake of this argument - Belle Vue beat poole in the heats Steve - would you have accepted that Poole should not go through - Yes or No? The answer no doubt is Yes - He's passionate about poole and disappointed his team lost - we all would be. Any one closer than me able to take him a new box of kleenex!!!!!
