http://www.speedwayworld.tv/en/swclatest/show_wc KASPRZAK ENTERS THE TEAM IT has been confirmed that Piotr Protasiewicz will be replaced by Krzysztof Kasprzak in Thursday's Speedway World Cup race-off. "Pepe" was been examined in a Bydgoszcz hospital on Tuesday after a fall in a Swedish league meeting. Doctors have decided that Protasiewicz should be given a few days' rest. "Piotr called me and declared he wanted to compete on Thursday. I need Protasiewicz in the team, but only a healthy one. Therefore we have decided to look for back-up," said Polish team coach Stanislaw Chomski. There were two candidates - Krzysztof Kasprzak and Grzegorz Walasek. "Greg has had some motor problems lately so I decided he will not deal with them before race-off," admitted Chomski. Kasprzak is not in brilliant form either, just returning after three collarbone injuries in a row. "Casper"admits that his physical condition has to be improved. However, he was given a chance and is already in England. Wieslaw Jagus will probably be the Polish reserve rider on Thursday. well we know 1 person that will be dancing a jig right now! -
Well there's always adoption and if you dont want him we are more than happy to take him off your hands - he's a 'nice boy!!'

Sandie replied to Mateusz's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Do hope you WONT be attending on Thursday and Saturday PD as we need fans who believe in us and not waves of negativity around the stadium. Save your money and watch it on TV then you can be as negative as you like -
Agreed and as we have tickets for Race Off and Final it will be good to see Team GB ride twice!!! (I hope)

Think you will also find that Shane Parker is his Deputy(but couldn't make Poland due to riding commitments) so they will be out in force on Saturday - Boyce, Parker and Jonno all supporting their riders. They will be a hard team to beat. Obviously dissapointed for Rory. He looked really nervous at the start - His first cap for his Country - always a scary proposition. It didnt go for him tonight but now he has that under his belt I hope things get better for him. Obviously Travis is favourite for Reading but who knows and if he doesnt ride again in this cup he's young and theres always next year. Now the Brits - BRILLIANT. Nothing more to say really. 'Get in There!' Roll on Thursday! -

Rico I would have to agree with you there. They mess around with the winter and summer schedules but then they have to release them. The programme has to be in place for ground operations (numerous types) so my feeling is they have now tweeked the times and they are nearly ready to announce the winter schedule. So here's hoping for no more (or minor) changes. Bet Im proved wrong!!!! And Chivs - lookings at Whowasthat's schedule I feel you will be looking at an EX-millionaire!!!!

Cliff Prague GP is brilliant. Last year we stayed at the Andel Hotel, it was very nice but all the action is on the other side of the river!! So this year we have rented an apartment in Old town. This should be very local for all the main attractions if you want to enjoy Prague Centre. As Rico has said the track is some way from the City centre but there is a tram route but obviously it gets a little crowded Saturday evening. But its full of speedway supporters so no need to feel worried !!!! Lots of sight seeing with the castle being spectacular. There is a thread for last years GP which actually makes interesting reading if you can find it. It gives hotels that people have stayed in and the tram routes needed to get about. Great trip - lovely City. have been for speedway and non-speedway weekends and love it.

Reading's Back Straight Stand
Sandie replied to Dave Stummings's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
But they help!! Last time I was at Reading the female toilets were awful. Without getting too technical I am happy to hovver over the loo without sitting but when your trousers are down at your ankles and they are getting soaked by the 'liquid' -on the floor then I feel a little bit of work needs to be done. And being a lady of tender years Im afraid I cant hold on. Especially as we will need to be there 4 hours prior to park!!! -
Get well soon to all the lads. Your our future so stay strong xx

Craig Boyce On Radio Fremantle
Sandie replied to ficklefan's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Guess you havent seen Rory recently then, unlike Craig. (For the record I havent seem Adam ride since his injury) We all support different riders and I am pleased Rory is in the team but if things had been different I dont know if he would be in the Play Off team or Final team because I feel both riders have done an outstanding job recently taking into account accidents and injuries. Its a shame we wont know, now that Adam is injured but Rory was in this position last year and has fought tooth and nail to work on a team place. Maybe next year will see a young Australian team which will include them both. I hope so. -
