What Gp's Are You Going To In 2007?
Sandie replied to SCB's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
snap and hopefully Germany as a ROAD TRIP. (budget being prepared for a 15 seater minibus)!!!! -
Great photo - its really good to put a face to a name. (Assume you mean the person front and centre, not the one hiding in the orange number back left!!?? )
-
Poor old Mrs B but as you say its too good an opportunity to miss. Im really jealous that you'll be there Pete - but give the boys a shout for us please.

1st point -whats wrong with poms!!!!?????? 2nd point - That description does not conjour up a pretty picture if you use the english translation (pervert is one that comes to mind though!!) seriously - I thought the BSPA and BSI were poor but that is ridiculous. I feel really sorry for all you guys that have spent money already, I hope you can keep your losses to a minimum. Hope they had the decency to let the riders know. I can hear the language from the Schlein household now, I know Mummy Schlein booked all the tickets and accomodation 2 weeks ago, and was very pleased that was another job finished. I said I would call her tonight (about fan club things) not sure its safe to now - she may be a little p*****d

FT - if you are planning on attending I suggest you get a one way ticket!!!! I am well aware the NIA is in the Centre but the NEC is NOT. If its the NIA that will be great, which to be honest is a much better option to the NEC but I really dont think it would work out financially its huge. (I was in Block 5 row DD last night - WE LOVE YOU CLIFF!!!!!! ) Edit - Jon Cook must be having a great chuckle at us all - I wonder if we are close?! -

Woww - Mr Elvey you really are endearing yourself to this forum. A member (under this name) since September and you are having a pop. Maybe your signature says it all. How to win friends and influence them -

Not in the timescale between meetings if its to be the same. As you will find out in a few weeks time - its out of the hall after event 1. Run up to Pizza hut (all 30 of us). Sit at our pre-booked table, order, eat and run back again!!! No time to get into the City Im afraid. Oh and by the way - dont think Ive mentioned it yet - its my birthday weekend so feel free to spoil me!! -

If it is the NEC I am very suprised they need to do noise levels due to some of the events held there. Same really with the NIA but a little bit more understandable. Very expensive to hire but it would certainly please me. Personally I would say the NEC or NIA would be cost prohibitive but I hope I am proved wrong!! Big disappointment though would be no beach and nowhere easily accesible between meetings. -

Cardiff 2007 - Speedway Party ?
Sandie replied to SCOOBYDO's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Correct. You just have to walk into any bar or eatery and there will be someone you know. And by the time you have spotted them, they have spotted you and its to late to hide!!!! Personally if I joined a group event I would need to know EXACTLY what my money is paying for as we already have a lot of fun and games without having an organised event and to be honest without paying a lot of money. I dont want to put a party pooper but money is always tight and what I can get for free is better than paying out for. That said - if the rest of my 'group' paid I would be there with bells on!! -

Well, we like the line up Steve so the best thing for you to do is stay at home on the 10th, wouldnt want you wasting your money on such a poor line up. At least that way this thread wont be subjected to more of your slating on how poor a meeting it was - in your opinion. The rest of us can be positive hopefully. -

Does the line up have to have elite riders to make it enjoyable. Its not as if the circuit is set up for an elite field. Everyone is on a level playing field (or speedway track) for this event. I think its more about personalities than big stars attending. I just dont understand why you feel the need only to support elite league riders. Says a lot for your mentality about supporting only the 'best' rather than all areas of speedway. -
And very much appreciated they are Sir Lunchy!

What makes everyone think it will be cold in January. The way our weather has been recently Spring will have already started!!! I sat outside for coffe today in just a polo shirt (and bottom bits as well before people start getting silly) and it was really pleasant! So I reckon Winter in December and Spring in January!!!! -

Same here guys. We heard about Scott doing the titles before the season had finished but hadnt got it confirmed so stayed quiet just in case it wasnt true. So Roo v Scotty back home (Roo's home that is!!)! Could be interesting. We need you Bryn and Lunchy for information. My source will dry up for a month as they will be on the road travelling all the time. So lots of new please. Wish I was there

You could be right. And maybe I will, but on this occassion it seems the only way to get tickets for Brighton at this stage is through Ticket Master. We could have waited until the day and taken a chance but then getting 13 seats together would probably not have happened. -

The guy that bought yours proably bought them weeks ago using the letter we were all sent if we had booked before. I called the Centre to check we could use this route still (because its quite late and didnt want to send a £300 cheque through the post to have it returned and then find out I couldnt get tickets through the agent) and was told - NO I had to go through Ticket Master now. Im not very happy at all as it's a real rip of and along with a credit card charge and postage its cost £30.00 for £26.00 tickets. Ps -when booking tickets with Ticketmaster he told me there werent that many seats left. (whether its true or not - thats what I was told)
