  1. Nicki was superb tonight and deserved the win. After seeing Jagus last year in Bydgoszcz our Nikki said after the Friday practice - he was one to watch in the future, put your money on him - damn, wish we had listened to her!!! Bomber also did us proud tonight. There is more to come. And poor Scott - He really was lucky to come out of that with just a broken thumb. I reckon tmorrow morning he may find a few more parts that hurt!!!!
  2. Oops Senior Moment - I read that line and kept trying to put their number into the gate boxes. Too much alcomohol - it was the GREY box!!!!!! thanks for your help all of you
  3. that wouldnt work either unfortunately. I kept hitting the key, harder and harder but it still didnt work.
  4. Brilliant sheet Steve BUT I cant write in the semi finalists as it seems to be protected. Am I doing something wrong or is everyone else using this programme having the same problem. STEVE - where are you - I need you????
  5. Make Steve watch it with you!! Offer to share your chocolate cake or angel Delight!!!!
  6. Off out now to buy pizza, other Italian foodstuff and lashings of Italian wine. Girlie night in - and hopefully a good GP on the box. Is it just me or are others get excited the the prospect of the first 2007 GP I cant wait!!!!! Watching 4 names in particular Greg - still not to old to win GP's AJ - because I have a feeling this is his year Scott - well, he's a Bee and British and Bomber - because he is going to be so entertaining and I will be flying my Cornish flag for him. Look out for Buzzybee and Double O tonight - just past the start/finish line towards first bend. Front row and with my original Bomber flag. Give them a wave!!!!

  8. We will already be there. We arrive on the Wednesday!!! Also I may have two spare GP tickets, just waiting for someone to say ya or nay!! I will post here when I know.
  9. NO But then again Im not going! Theres only so much time a girl can have off work
  10. No its earlier as its not the heart of summer and therefore not as hot. Looks like its a 20:00 local time which is the time you need but that is then a 19:00 hours start for those left here to watch on TV
  11. I would rather a 'lesser' listed act and what small pot of money there is be ploughed back into speedway, rather than pay squliions for a 'current star' which a large crowd of us 'oldies' would rather not hear as they scream and holla into their microphones!!!!!
  12. I use this web site http://www.speedway.org/wm/2007/index.html for results but not sure about wether it updates as it goes along - but heres a programme from the site so maybe it does. http://www.speedway.org/junioren-wm/2007/index.html#herxheim
  13. Good on you for choosing to put the post here on the BSF and speaking direct to the fans. No arguement from me on the bulk of the text but I do find the section on weakened teams interesting. And Im not being negative here. You talk in the post about the 7's events evolving with time and I agree we learn as we progress. So I wonder if the Elite League Pairs was not the first in the competition would the statement about seriously weakened teams being replaced have come into play in that event. I dont expect, nor need you to answer as it is really hyperthetical and it will only become relevant when next seasons EL Pairs take place. But its just a thought and one many Belle Vue fans make be asking themselves. Mod Note: - this thread is now locked, can discussion continue on the original thread please at http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/ind...60entry895028
  14. Temple is the correct term iris, so you were correct!!
  15. Is he another one on your - Shouldnt but would list, Shazzy? If so - same here!!!
  16. I think its all just a bit of fun and for atmosphere they will be great. I wouldnt pay money to go to see them on their own but Im not complaining to see them as part of the fun on GP day. Incidently - all those that have bar-humbugged C & D, who do you think should be booked. Remember it needs to be someone whose music is designed to get the foot tapping and people smiling. Its the warm up act after all and not the main event? Shazzy - keep yourr suggestions clean please!!!!
  17. I cant believe this but I just googled the lyrics and was about to cut and paste them on here. Phew - I stopped just in time. May keep what little credibilty I have left!!!

  20. I think you have taken that out of context. If you read back SCB said why Mark shouldnt be the NEXT team manager (no managerial experience but would be good with moral). Sube then made a negative comment about Middlo by his post, and SCB was pointing out that they werent discussing Middlo but the Next manager. Or something like that. Anyhow thats the way I read it - Dont know whether he does or doesnt like Middlo but I dont think that post meant - NO to Middlo. But no doubt he will have his say when he gets back from KL tonight
  21. will you be there for the full team meeting NJT?
  22. You could have gone straight to the airport!!
  23. The tour officially started early this morning with the arrival of riders, management and families. Tommy Hedden is already in the country along with skipper Tim Gomez who was at the airport to greet the remaining team members. Dale and Neil Facchini, Bryan Yarrow, JT Mabry and Kenny Ingalls now complete the team. Today (Wednesday) the team will spend the remainder of the day unpacking crates and cases and building bikes ready for their practice session tomorrow (Thursday). The tour then starts in earnest with the first meeting against Weymouth this Friday The tour schedule is then as follows. 06 Apr : Weymouth Wildcats CL Challenge 08 Apr : Scunthorpe Scorpions CL Challenge 09 Apr : Wolverhampton Cubs CL Challenge 12 Apr : Sheffield Tigers 2nd Half 13 Apr : Plymouth Devils CL Challenge 15 Apr : Buxton Hitmen CL Challenge Talking to team members this morning they are all really looking forward to the tour and said that there was something special about British fans, their support and the awesome tracks. They hope to meet as many Dream Team fans on their travels this year as possible and thank you for your support.
