Main Man - We waited a while before listing these items as we felt that speedway fans were directing their funds in other directions. We felt it was important not to ask for money when everyone was busy adding to Stead's and Robbo's collections. I know they are still in need of funds but we didnt want to put people in a compromising situation of what to support - so we waited. Im sure those silver and gold pins will be snapped up vey quickly they are really lovely. Any one got a spare 2006 one though. I lost mine - strangely enough in America - and I would love a new one!!

Scorpio, If I remember correctly, last year as the day got closer and people suddenly decided to come along, they were really keen for this information as there are no hotel rooms in the whole of wales available, so keep up the updates they will be read and used fequently, I can asure you of that.

Atmosphere at both is just awsome!! Not sure I could pick between them they were so good. Wroclaw just gone and Bydgoszcz last year and due again this year!! Transport links are good as well. Bydgoszcz - we walked to the stadium and although it took 20 minutes or so, it was a straight forward journey and great fun with other speedway fans!!! Wroclaw is a tram ride away (or maybe 2 if you dont get on the right one first time!!!) Difficult choice if you have to choose one but you wont be disapointed which ever one you choose.

Thank God for that Now, back to the first post of the thread - Wieslaw Jagus Wieslaw has very much impressed me in this season's GP's - so surely it's time for a Promoter in this country to get him over here to race? Last year at Bydgoszcz, Nikki (my daughter, not the GP rider!) said he was the name to watch and if she was a gambling girl she would put her money there. Well, she was right and he has impressed on numerous occassions. I would love it if an Elite club picked up on him, as it would be great to see him ride on a regular basis.

BUT - this is the last time I listen to a wannabe heat leader from the premier league when he tells me that all of Crumps problems are solved and he will win tonights meeting. Even before his crash he would have been lucky to make the final!!! But Nikki made up for it when she announced that Hans has the best backside in speedway!! The poor lad looked so miserable - bless him!!!!

Yer - dont know what you are on about Mat! Damn good meeting if you ask me. Just a shame the rowdy lot to my left kept shouting and hand clapping before the meeting - rowdy bunch, whoever they wer!! Agreed though, the meeting is only part of a GP weekend, drinking shots in the Guiness bar also had a lot to do with it!

As there were in theWroclaw Stadium yesterday. But now its sopping wet and needs repair work for Monday. But I dont care. I wonder if Bomber is happy though. That boy strives to be the best and I wonder if he is happy at a third place or dissapointed he wasnt first!!!

Went to the meeting tonight to watch the meeting. What can I say. Chris Bomber Harris was awsome. We were sat (no - standing on the benches) on the back straight and were surrounded by passionate Poles but the support they gave Chris was heart warming considering the lack of Poles in the latter stages. The emotions tonight were unbelievable. When Chris won his first ever GP heat we all went loppy thinking thats as good as we would get tonight but then he just got better and better. The Poles were laughing at us but we were really struggling to keep it together. Some may call us stupid but thats what we paid our money for and Chris certainly delivered. But we didnt stop after the meetingas the moment the final checquered flag came down the heavens opened again and after all the fireworks etc it was back to the hotel to get changed. I am just so please to be able to say I was there for Chris Harris's first podium finish.
