Doncaster was a doddle Jenn. It was during the airport security problems when every passenger was nearly being strip-searched and every item in your handluggage was being pulled apart. Doncaster was a breeze when we were there. Two flight departures that afternoon and a security less stressed than any other airport probably. Birmingham is definately the most convenient but Doncaster was so easy and relaxed. Still wish I was going again though but some of us have to work!

Not this time unfortunately as we have just returned from a family hol. Dont think work would have been too impressed. Just Bydgoszcz and Gelsenkirchen to go for me Im afraid!! Will you miss me.

Yes - there is a sports bar just off the old Town Square. If you stand in the corner by the astomomical clock and look into the square you will need to head across the square and to the left corner. You will find a cut through between the long line of street bars. Just in there is a building just on your left. you will need to go down the stairs. That is the sports bar and we have been in there before to watch the British final. Hope that helps.

Starman, apologies for picking your post but I am using it as an example rather than you in particular. If Middlo is without blame here can someone please tell me the point of having a Team Manager at all. The riders were below par no-one is doubting that but how can Neil be so squeaky clean in all of this. Can someone please explain to me what a Team Manager has to do during a meeting then. And if he is so unimportant why are Poland praising theirs for being so wonderful last night. Surely he didn’t do anything. Again I repeat, I have nothing against Middlo - he's a great bloke and a very funny guy (when slightly intoxicated!!) but I am still struggling to understand why he is completely exonerated of blame

Steve, I do not deny that at all, every one of the GB riders was so far of he pace it was ridiculous. As for why - I have no idea, maybe we will find out in time. But Middlo is responsible for them. If there were to be a 2nd meeting next week I would ask who he would pick now based on these performances. Or if a new manager were bought in - who they would pick. In Industry its not the workers who have to go, its the Chairman or Director and the same in Football. I appreciate what Suzie has said as well that in League speedway we always say - Rider out, so why should WTC be any different. I just dont think that ANY of them performed last night - riders or manager. Now question is (which is being discussed on another thread) should Middlo go or not. Cause if he goes shouldnt that go for the riders as well?! I dont know the answer myself as I dont know who would be a suitable replacement for any of them. But based on last nights performance something went terribly wrong and we can only hope it was a one off. We know they can ALL do better than that.

Great ride by johnno by the sound of it to qualify. what a year this guy is having from Australia and beyond!! Looks like Dryml has a few questions to answer - 5. Max, Johnston, Simota Ef, Dryml Fx (Carpanese, F/-, Howe F/-) Nasty fall from Carpanese on the first bend, when he tried to attack Dryml. It should be all 4 restart, but Carpanese was taken to the hospital. Howe will ride in a rerun instead of Italian. Rerun: Howe was in the lead for 2 laps, but then Dryml rode into him and both riders took quite a heavy fall! Dryml excluded, but Howe will not ride in a rerun - it seems he has some problems with the collarbone. Simota to ride instead of Howe. 13. Pedersen, Balinski, Kroner, Dryml Fx Similarly to heat 5 when he hit Howe, Dryml now rode into Balinski and both riders fell. Dryml is excluded from the rerun. Whippy, in case a Peterborough fan doesnt get on tonight I think its like this - Drive to the main gate and they will let you park just inside. you then have to get on a bus that drives you up to the stand. Thats how I think it will happen - but I am neither the panthers fan or in need of this service - its just from what I remember.. hope that helps Sandie
