So you take the word of one forum member that Scott cant make it cause he couldnt be arsed. And I doubt it was a post made through knowledge. Sorry Alan but that is so shallow. I dont know why Scott cant make it but Im sure he would have been there if he could. He is away every other weekend so maybe, just maybe he has a comittment in his home and family life. Fancy putting them second- shock horror!! Even without Scott and Jason, its a brilliant line up and I wold be there even if it were made up of Conference riders.

Sandie replied to beercellar's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Oh dear - this really sums up previous Brightons. Of course the speedway has been fun but its like the forum members Christmas Party!!! Look how quickly we have forgotten about the meeting and aldready started discussing the in-between-bits!!! And can we have some 'singles' (not taking partners or spouses!!) in our group this year please. i felt like a gooseberry last year and there was about 15 of us!!!! -

Thats a shame. I dont think I have laughed so much in years. So many different reasons, but for me having sexy steve between my legs outside the hotel on the Friday night made me feel 10 years younger!!! And of course Trees arrive on the back of the AA van made us *safrican american* just a little!!! (sorry ) -

People have said how the Lodge is too expensive (not necessarily on here but in texts etc) but a Lodge Room for 4 @ £150 = £37.50 a person Travel Lodge @ £65 for 2 = £32.50 So not a lot in it and its a great hotel with bar and excellent rooms. Im more than happy with our choice and the company and drinking partners are the most important thing!!! -

Its also no longer called Brighton Bonanza There is another thread somewhere on here with all the details. See link earlier in this thread Also if the Centre is about to be re-furbed is this now the time they tell us that next year it will be in the Midalnads. This was discussed a year ago and we were told this was a definate. But Brighton was fun, not sure we would get the safe atmosphere somewhere like the NEC or arena -
German Gp Wildcard
Sandie replied to rickmiller's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Good luck to Christian. Obviously I would have loved it to be Martin as we would have been cheering on three Bees but it was obviously a purely a selfish reason. So good luck Christian and here's hoping Lindack breaks a finger nail in his first ride, pulls out and Martin comes in!!! -
Here here. Its always easy to be wise after the event!

Billy J may get his GP place yet!!!! Go William!!!! Cool - eurodisney - when can we book. Why not go whole hog and hold it in Florida Disney. Now that would be good!! But Doctor - just make sure your travel insurance is world wide and not just euro. We wouldnt want to take any chances now would we!!! -

Oh - no thank you BFD - You obviously havent met 21st Century!!!!! I agree in principle about taking the WORLD championship outside of Europe. My only concern is how this would be funded. The majority of GP riders use their Polish or Swedish bikes on the continent and those that dont will pack off their mechanics on the Thursday with their bikes. Stripping down two bikes and then crating and shipping them for a trip further away costs a pretty penny. That has to be take into consideration. Having said that I think the WORLD championship is just that. -

2007 Grand Prix Competition
Sandie replied to Steve Turner's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think (but not to sure) that for once I backed two riders who both made the final -
Already used the Nicky World Champ thread to say my bit on him so this post is to say; Well done to Scott Nicholls tonight. Beaten only by the world Champion must count for something. One place higher on the 13th october and a few quid richer - how cool would that be. Poor old Chris seems to be tailing off. Im sure he has secured his place for next year but it would be good to see him come good on the 13th as well.

He looked really down tonight and obviously thinking of his family and how they get affected by the whole lifestyle

Well lets hope for all the hoteliers that have already contacted clients and told them their date is confirmed I hope they are right. So far, reading bits and pieces I make it: Krsko, Slovenia - - 26th April Gotthenberg Sweden- 24th May Parken, Denmark - 14th June Cardiff, GB - 28th June ________________________________________________ Bydgoszcz, Poland - (Mateusz - Bydgoszcz Ticket thread) Leszno (hazzman - this thread) Spain?? (Triple H - this thread) Mallila (Hazzman - this thread) Latvia (Hazzman - this thread) Ostrow - GP Challenge (Mateusz - Bydgoszcz Tickets tread) Lots of - 'I wish it could be here or there' but this is taken from posts that 'appear' to use sources to back things up. Any others? Not sure I agree with announcing it during a spedway meeting as two clubs dont have the opportunity to get on the phone and make the bookings and then when they do all the rooms have gone. (That is of course those that havent read it on here!) Edit - updtaed as information is known!
