Radio Freemantle is great. But ssshhh - keep it quiet. I remember last year the station couldnt cope with the volume of people wanting to listen the meeting they broadcast live. No Rory - but hopefully listen live still. Nothing else to do on a cold winters morning at work!!

Martin, I promise to bring Jay to the meeting next year (but I wont pay for him!!) and I will make sure he introduces himself!!! Thats another 100 bought and paid for tickets - That event could be nearly as good as the riding itself!!!

No, No, No - the under 15's only do the afternoon session. All it means is that we have less time in Pizza hut between meetings and Im willing to forego my Ice Cream factory if it means we have the youngsters there. Not sure about London Witch though - you should have seem the amount in her bowl this year!! Dont listen to Rob B - no one else does!! (Joke Rob!) November 29th or Dec 6th - Hmm - Well nothing in my diary yet but december 6th is closer to me birthday so we could make it a birthday party. Does that help Martin!!!!!!!!

Hmmm - What a dilema!! Pulling it back into November would take away the Christmas get together angle. But Im not sure how many think that way. My group does but not sure about others BUT - November could also encourage a few more who find December a little to busy to fit anything else into. I guess Martin - whichever date you choose, you will just need to jump in with two feet and give it your best shot, which Im sure you will do. Remember that we do want the under 15's back in please - they are fab!! Good luck with your meeting and decision making

My thoughts - Sunday is preffered as it's tradition BUT I would support a Saturday as well. Can see a problem with Saturday that you would be fighting for the parking spots in the town. At least on Sunday you can get into the car parks before the late starters on a Sunday. But advantage is - more children attending as they wont have t oget up for school the next morning!! You talk about a Saturday evening. Not sure I would come all the way for 1 meeting -its a long way. But maybe that wasnt want you meant!!

Martin - It was a great day out and it was fun. And I agree with Sue - treat it like the pantomime - oh yes it is!!!! And in truth the only anoying part was the Kennett 'is God' picture!!! Kev is one of the best commentators around and is obviously 'slightly' biased. But better that then Yorkie!! But more importantly than anything else - how is the foot?

Got home at midnight after a very enjoyable day. I was reluctant to go as the riders did not really interest me (personal choice and all that) BUT I am so pleased I did. Some cracking racing in both meetings with 'no quarter given' in many of them. Ricky Wells definately looked a good prospect. I know people will say its only Brighton but he held his bike well and looked for the opening at every opportunity. Sorry that Olly dropped out but better than than going through the Centre walls which we thought he was about to do!!!! Only dispointment was the Ed Kennett 'incident'. IF he had been anything else other than a EASTBOURNE rider he would have been put back to the 2nd start line after the first incident. But no that was never going to happen. But generally all taken in good spirit and a very very good day out. Company not bad either Oh and Martin, I may not have won the chocolate feast but at least I got my free parking - the barrier was up in the car park so we didnt have to pay the expected £15!!! BONUS!!

Oh poor Dave!!! And he was so close to coming home just so he didnt upset you. You have no idea of the sleepless nights he went through deciding if he could cope without seeing you this year BFD!!!!
