Think you find he will give up his Sky work to support Nicholls
-
If the temporary stand is granted then I will be coming along - if not I will be asking for a refund on my ticket that I still havent used since kings Lynn. I am less than 5 foot so I have no chance of seeing anything at this meeting having been before and knowing the problems. Very sad really as I think its really good for Birminham and also close to home Can anyone shed any light on if this is being discussed please

Think I wll wait a wek for a revised line - up. Hopefully but then things will be a little clearer. On a more important note - I reckon this meeting will be very well attended. I have been to Birmingham once and it was easy to see from my position on the temporary stand. BUT - with numbers likely to be high can someone please advise this 4ft 11 and 3/4 inch (short) female of the best options. Do I arrive 3 hours beore he gates open to queue and then run to pick my spot on the stand or are there other opions open to short arses like me????

Very true In a word (or two) - No bloomin way!! You lot gave him up and after fighting Pammie and a few others I became his joint number 1 fan and there is no chuffin way I am coming up to Edinburgh every week to see him ride. Its bad enough checking out other clubs fixture lists with all that is happening south of the border at the moment! Any how - Congratulations Rory on a confidence boosting great win at a place he loves returning to. Despite all his trouble he smiled broadly when he told me the week before he was coming up to see you all again and a Rory smile is almost as rare a Coventry win at the moment!!! I was in Prague on Friday (otherwise I think we may have come up as well) and I was getting texts from England, Scotland and Australia on this win. It does go to show what a boost it was. Thanks Edinburgh fans (and others) you were the shot in the arm this boy needed. -

And to fill this in a little: 30 minute trial lesson in a Robin HR200 aircraft. To be taken from WELLESBOURNE AVIATION, which is 5 minutes from Junction 15 of the M40. Lessons can be taken anytime from 9am through to the last slot of 4.30pm. Open 7 days a week so plenty of time to have some fun. The true value of the lesson is £75 and as an extra bonus this 30minute lesson actually counts towards that PPL licence that you are all yearning to acheive! The voucher can be extended for a month or so if it helps AND /OR for an extra £10 (paid to the school) you can change the aircraft type to a Warrior PA28 and also take two friends with you (based on average weight and build). Follow this with a day i Warwick or Startord Upon Avon and it is a great day out or a great birthday gift for a friend. -
same here - good to meet you too. See you for a pint or two I hope!!

Saving that for Bydgoszcz

I dont know what to pack!! Clothes and shoes (and deodarant!!) are a good start but so many choices. 8 pairs of shoes laid on the bed so far - oh I dont know!!!

If they pick on you too much you cantake sanctuary with Queen Bee and myself. Hmm - saw the forecast earlier - warm weather with wellies by the looks of it!!!!
-
Lunchy and Big Ron - where are they staying?? I so want to meet Lunchy - I love him, he sends me cuddly toys!!!
-
Oh dear!!!

I dont know where the 'boring' comes in - I could sit in one of the bars looking up at it for hours. In fact - I think this year we will pick a bar (especially looking at the weather) very close, arrive about 10 and stay all day. Of course if it was a coffee shope we would stay at that instead bt there arent any!!!! You just have to spend a lot of time around it, to appreciate it!!!

Actually at 4:40 (the time of my post) and 7:57 (the time of yours) Iwould agree with you but it gets VERY exciting on the hour every hour - and you know it SCB!!!! NOT!!!

I have just checked our hotel AGAIN and its down another 10 euro (off the total price). So that's 5 euro for Queen bee and 5 euro for myself. Now divide that over the three nights and suprisingly I have deceided I really couldnt be ar**ed to change it all over again. We started the booking at 150 euro a night and now have it down to Thurs 80 / Frid 85 / Sat 85. I reckon that we have reached the lowest possible price. Always worth checking your hotel is offering you the best value for money AND always book a hotel you can cancel and re-book. This time next week .........
-
Oh dear - suggest you read back over this thread and show me where I have mentioned the hotel name!!! Also not many people have a smurf for a friend!!!! If your gonna lie - then make sure your story stands up!!! Enjoy your beers tomorrow night boys seeing as how you wont be working!!!

At last - A Scottish Open over a GP weekend!!! Why does that please me? For the last few years Rory has been devastated that this meeting has always been when Coventry are riding. Every year he says that he would have love to have come up there. Now he has his chance. He really does feel pasionate about you Edinburgh lot - goodness knows why having met more of their fans recently!!!! And I suspect Billy janniro is on the TBC list as his two main mechanics will be with us in Prague!!! Oops - bad timing boys - you didnt see that one coming!!! My dissapointment - I may have come up for this meself if I wasnt in Prague - I know I would have been able to fill the car easily!
