I know that and appreciate that. But for it to be said that Jim Lynch doesnt have as much passion based on him not being at the GP's is. I believe, I little insulting. If the BSPA paid for the flights and the hotel accomodation and he still didnt attend then Yes, fair enough, but until then I dont think it is a fair comment to say he doesnt have as much passion. Just my opinion of course.

In Chris's defence I understand he cant sleep before a GP. Did your friend say whether he was drinking or not. I suspect the answer was NOT. So does he lay in bed and toss and turn orgo out - tire himself out and when he hits the pillow he then will fall asleep. Everyone does differenlty and I have been quick to jump when we have seen riders out late at night -but now I am more tolerant!! That is slightly unfair. I suspect Jim is just as passionate for Britain but doesnt have the same personal income as Neil. As you say Neil had to pay for himself (along with Poole Tourist Board - who whoever it was called) maybe Jim doesnt have a sponsor to help either.

I know your post is tounge in cheek (I hope) but using that theory there wouldnt be speedway on a Bank Holiday to worry about. The emergency services wouldnt be able to offer cover The stadium staff would want the day off and taking it one step further - the riders wouldnt be 'working' either And SKY wouldnt be working either!!!!! But we live in a 24 / 7 society and why cant the BSPA and SKY revolve around me!! I want my speedway!! And by the way - this meeting - I can attend if I plan my social activites better!! Its the Cov v Ippo Im cross about. Weather is something we have to accept - messing around with times for SKY tv now thats another matter!!!!

Well, there was certanly a sparkle in Luncy's eye when he introduced me to Big Ron. Now I know why. Seriously what a wonderful group of Aussies. Lots of lovely stories relayed through a slur and a whiff of not so amber nectar!! Really good to meet up with them all.

It was made public on Thursday and I cannot see Scott going to SKY before going to his team. So I would suspect they knew on Wednesday if not before. Its a very brave decision for Scott and I really hope this new focus pays off.
