  1. And it is also Neath's Testimonial meeting so if he wants animals there then that is up to him! Good for him I say. I only hope they all have ear protectors, or are taken away before the bikes start up. I can see the stampedeing now!! Not sure if it has been mentioned but Rory Schlein wont be riding. He spoke to Chris and pulled out earlier in the week following his crash on Monday. He has struggled with heavy bruising to his hip and could barely walk. Since then he has improved and Coventry have now called him to ride for them at Eastbourne. He will however still have to wait till the morning for a final fitness test before riding. I would have loved to have come over for this (with or without roo riding) but wont be able to now. It looks like Chris is going to have superb weather and I hope that swells the numbers. have a great day every one - especially Mini-Lupus. I know what this one means to you guys. Enjoy
  2. Excellent interviews Lawrence. Very sureal though - hearing you but not seeing you!! pleased to say we were part of the 'pleasure giving' this weekend. As normal a huge thanks to all our Polish friends that made it such a great trip. As for Scott's comments they were very interesting. Not sure if it was picked up on Sky cameras but Adam Roynon was out in Bydgoszcz and spent a lot of time just listening and watching Scott in the pits. Excellent piece of mentoring work by Scott but this should be a programme developed by the BSPA and not individual riders. Planing and preparing our youngsters for the future - good on you Scott.
  3. well she nearly did - she thought it was with mine and then realised it wasnt and had to search her room - kids!!!!! runs off to double check its in handbag!!!

Which hotel you in??
  7. Im packed, bathed and ready to go. And I guess its a female thing but all office work done, bills paid, club stuff posted, letters written that needed writing. Housework up to date and meals purchased for his lordship whom is staying behind. (All this for a 4 day trip!!) Amazed my suitcase is under 15k and amazed I am done so early. What have I forgotten to pack?? Up at 5.30am -

  11. Only the 'Bydgoszcz supportes club' sing-a-long!!! But you need to be on the back straight to appreciate it!! And speak Polish!!! Cant remember anything else taking place - Matt/Mama and co should be on at some point - they know everything!!!
  12. The Brda is basic but it serves a purpose but last time we checked it was full. The barman is lovely guy who works very hard whilst we are there - well into the wee small hours and never shows signs of closing up. really looking forward to getting back there. Fancy a coffee and fizzy water London Witch and Chivs
  13. His version of Hotel Californika is just the best. Worth every penny to keep him there singing. he also does a good rendition of Happy Birthday
  14. I wonder why you have sggested Roosters!! Maybe it's the street entetainment or perhaps something else I didnt have any problems. I assume my money was transferred to the same bank as you but they didnt charge me at the receiving end. All mine went through!! It is really strange but maybe the bank suddenly realised there were about to be swamped and started charging Hope you can all sort it out
  15. Who do you bank with this end JSR. In the end my transaction was pretty much smooth. I printed off the confirmation that I received that reserved my seats. I took this to the bank (Nationwide) and we filled out the form. We were asked if paying in sterling or zloty - so we paid in zloty - I dont know if that maybe the difference and the cause of your problem. I checked my statement and the money we transferred in zloty (which was the figure on the reservation print out) was passed on from the Polish bank in full and then a seperate transaction for the fee to Nationwide. We had been told that the receiving bank MAY have made a charge but it doesnt appear they did as I now have my confirmation to collect tickets. Maybe the club will accept the 40z posted to them - its not a great deal so not to much of a worry about it going missing - apart from the obvious - they dont get the money!! What a dilema - good luck
  16. Nationwide asked for a reference nuber - something we would remember. so as suggested by Rico I used the order number given to me on my original ticket confirmation. I had major concerns about this mode of moving money (and about the cost!!!) but it all seems to have gone smoothly - even if it was a hassle going to the BS and trying to fill out the form!!!
  17. I think in this day and age days of the week suit people differently. Give it a couple of years and you will be saying - No not a sunday as my daughter works on a Sunday. But from a kids point of view a daytime (therefore weekend) time is better. But for teenagers and shift workers - no day is easy. Either way its no good for me as I will be in Colarado. Good job I used my ticket and got in for the Pairs at Swindon, cause knowing my luck they will put a dead-line on when you can claim your money back. Bet it wil be after he 8th and before the 10th or something just as silly!!!
  18. I think everyone should meet at the Brda Hotel. Its much easier to find!! Especially for the return journey
  19. Hey Tractor girl - sorry I havent replied to your PM - seeing your post has reminded me!! Where are you sat for this one??
  20. I have today received an offical confirmation that something is happening about my tickets. But be warned - mine went straight to my junk box so it nearly got destroyed without reading!! For all those wanting to book but with a few concerns, the e-mail received gave me all the details I needed for the Bank. It s just a shame I didnt get them last week!!!!! The thinks your bank will need: Name of recipient: ZKZ SSA Address of recipient: Wroclawska 69, 65-218 Zielona Gora Name of Bank: BRE BANK Zielona Gora IBAN PL: 46 1140 18550 0000 5012 7600 1005 SWIFT: BREXPLPW and how much you need to pay. Hope that helps everyone else. S
  21. Not yet, but I did get a nice e mail from them aknowledging my e mail. It may not be the best way to pay but at least you are dealing with human beings who can move goal posts if necessary rather than the automation of a ticket company!! Just checked my bank account and the expected amount appears to have been withdrawn by my bank so hopefully it will turn up in their bank soon.
  22. As long as the champagne bottles are still full thats fine by me!! Very helpful at the Nationwide today as we had problems sorting this transaction out. The things that werent clear were - The Bank Name which will be receiving the money and the Receiver who's account it is going into. (ie - Nat West Bank and Coventry Speedway) Thanks to Rico for attempting to help me - hope you were delayed to much! But in the end I think we sorted it. £20 this end and possible another fee that end. So Feltham Flyaway Party will just have to wait until it all appears on my credit card before I tell you the final cost! (9 tickets ordered here so the cost is split well)
  23. Booked tickets yesteday evening, off to the bank this afternoon, so hope this three day rule is extended. Just have to wait and see.
