WIND YOUR BLOOMIN NECK IN!!!!! (Yes I'm shouting!!) You know I love you SCB but please please please step away from the keyboard. You have made your point which to be honest is rubbish but your passion does your proud and normally I would be there shouting it with you but you are wrong! I'm a Warwickshire Tax Payer and that is no different to you being a Welsh tax payer until of course Wales is no longer part of Great Britain and has full independency. Obviously if your fight for world domination continues then Newport will need to have its own league as it will be a Welsh League and they will then ride against themselves every week. You cant have it all SCB - now behave xxx How can you tell!!! -
Cardiff Gp 2012 And Cricket
Sandie replied to Boggle's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
And not forgetting the one day international the day before in the same stadium. Lots of fans, me included very tempted to find a way to get a little cricket and some speedway that weekend. And I'm not sure where but I think there is already a thread on this. There were a few comments and it faded away. -

Yes he is and if it is going to be a New Zealander then Ricky is probably the best of the bunch. And then watch all those Yanks claim him back for the day!!! -

Speedway World Cup

Hope GB apply for the 2013 Final - at least it will guarantee our place. But in all seriousness are we heading towards buying a trophy in international speedway. Bid for the pleasure of hosting the WTC in your backyard and as a bonus your in the final. So Poland have it for the next 10 years!! Not sure I'm liking this idea! -
Suspect he's already sold out. And that's with people sleeping in shifts. As for doubling up or top and tailing............!!!

I would love him in the full series but I don't think it would be good for him. He struggles being away from his girls when just riding Sweden and Poland, add into that GP's and I think it would screw with his head. It would be wonderful and I would be broke and in trouble at work - but New Zealand will be enough - lets wait and see. -

so would I but although I have traveled to some strange places to watch him ride I can assure you 100% I will not be able to get to see him ride this one!!! -
Really disappointed to have missed this meeting today, but that's what happens with additional meetings due to rain offs - I had to work!! I did get to eat with the team at USA HQ for a good send off and I understand Sam is fine. They glued his head together but he is feeling pretty sore apparently. Freaky indeed. A good tour and lots of great new friends.

And there was me thinking it was good to see you tonight!!!! We are not allowed to do raffles at a lot of the tracks as many of them do their own, or a 50/50 draw. And that is fully understandable. And there is only so much this girl and her 'small' crew can do at meetings mate!!!!! Oh and as for Porky - Sadly I think he got away with that one. Clean Cut sports were not recording at the time and Mr Ballinger is blaming me!!!! All I did was tell him to cover his belly up as the wave was coming through! I really didn't need to see that tonight! LOL. And somehow I get the blame for Pete not recording at the time. Poor excuse for a professional such as you Mr B!!!!

Belle Vue is cancelled tonight Steve due to waterlogged pitch.

Hi Jayne, I think you may be feeling a little sensitive today as from the outside world it seems to be a nice day. I know it is down in South Warwickshire but that is miles and miles away. I never read anything in Greyhounds post that was a dig at Buxton, just a disappointment that weather has won again. It would have been a great meeting and one we were all looking forward to but, we all know the sort of weather you can get up there and you are so very very exposed. We are of course pleased that Leicester have stepped in to give the fans a chance to see this American style of speedway but would have loved the meet to have been at a track most of the boys have never been to before. Have a glass of wine and all will feel better in the morning - that's my plan at any rate. Take care and see you next season I hope.
-
Lets hope its someone that understands an American format!!!! Steve G seems to be the answer at the track. Training for the updater may be required prior to the meeting!!!
-
He is as American as I am for the next two weeks!!!! We all get adopted as soon as their aircraft touches down!

Kings Lynn Young Stars Vs American Touring Team
Sandie replied to SteveEvans's topic in National League Speedway
Luckily my journey was a bit shorter - got in at 12.45am. And I agree, a good night for the tourists. Lots of names to watch for there. Disappointed with Eddie Castro though.................................... We didn't have a 15 metre start!!!! Michael Raines looked VERY sharp - at the moment the one one to watch. Rocco looked like he could turn a bike, but unfortunately it seemed to be 'upside down' last night. Tuff McBride showed a lot of guts and the other lads (Green, Novratil, Buman and Thomas) all looked like they were out there to get some points. A brilliant first meeting of our tour, yes we lost but we came away with a huge amount of pride. And even though the Race Jacket didn't auction very well last night (very poor in fact), the generosity of the fans on the bucket walk was superb. I wonder if the people of Redcar would be kind enough to just use the paper type of money tight, that way my arm wont ache as much!!! -

We like Lucy - but can she please predict the same weather for our next 5 tour meetings?!! And sorry if Jaybea wont be there but I will be! I know Im no match but my strange team and I will be there tonight with our USA Touring Team Goodies. Looking forward to seeing a large crowd tonight, Lets show the Yanks that the Brits can come out in force and support EVERYOINE. -
...........and falling asleep at the tables in the bar whilst watching the Elite League Final. Oh and Mr Evans - I thought you were joking about going up against the Bees at Leicester. Until, that is, that someone invited me to an 'event' on facebook!!! We must be making an impact - Buxton and an American special AND the Bees now wanting to be part of the tour. The only thing left now is to have an actual full meeting at Brandon. Life then, will be complete for me!!!
