  1. .........but arent they complimentary tickets. Not sure you can sue for somthing that someone is 'giving away'. Dont agree with what has happened though. It doesnt take a lot to give a little bit of consideraion.
  2. For some people travelling to and from Poland this season these details, taken from an aviators forum, may be of use: The routes involved are: to Gdansk (2 out of 7) - from Bristol - from Liverpool to Katowice (1 out of 6) - from Bristol to Lodz (3 out of 5) - from Liverpool - from Shannon (still in talks) - from EMA to Poznan (1 out of 8) - from EMA to Szczecin (4 out of 6) - from Bristol - from Birmingham - from Liverpool - from Luton to Wroclaw (1 out of 15) - from Bournemouth. No reductions in Krakow, Rzeszow - Jasionka, Bydgoszcz. Probably the only one to worry about is the Poznan from East Mids. But nothing confirmed yet but worth keeping an eye on.
  3. Get yourself to somewhere in this area and we can do the rest!!!! Edit - I have scanned through but cant seem t ofind an answer - Anyone got a start time for this meeting please?
  4. well, when he came to the NSSC meeting a couple of years ago we asked what he would do when he retires. His answer was - to have an ice cream van!!!! I wonder if he remembers saying that I wonder of its true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Me and Nikki - if the piggy bank can afford both, so early in the season SCB will also be doing both I understand
  6. but financially its good for the sport. Never been to Somerset before Cardiff personally, as that is valuable drnking time, but I guess its very well attendd.
  7. Maybe you could persude Steve Shovlar to come SCB now that Ben Barker has been named in the line up.
  8. I think when Seb comes on line he, and other Swindon fans will understand why I said bloke and pub in the same breath. BUt hey - it goes over other peoples heads and I apologise for that Squall!!! And as for Vog - what more did you expect!!
  9. Some bloke in a pub!!!! That doesnt bode well for the future of British speedway if this bloke, in the pub, doesnt even know which round the team starts in!!!!!
  10. Prague is one of the best GP's to go to for ease and convenience. We generally grab a cab from the airport (price agreed before getting in!) The main area which has all the pubs and town square etc is Praha 1 (Prague 1). Old Town Square is where the main bars and restaurants are. But a few things have changed over the last couple of years. In some of the restaurants there is a cover charge (per person) for sitting out on the 'pavement'! Also they now seems to be doing a charge if there is live music. A lot of the accomadation is around Wencalas Square - the maining shopping centre but with hotels all around. And if you do have the time the sites are wonderful. The Castle and scenery is wonderful. Enjoy
  11. It's as it says in the title!!! Looking at what the options are for this GP. Flying into Milan probably and hiring a car so any useful suggestions would be more than welcome please. Do we stay in Milan or is there anywhere in the Terenzano area which I suspect would be cheaper. Many Thanks
  12. It was SCB 's suggestion so Im sure he has done the sums - he even added some time in the bar before departure!!! Now that may be my down fall. I know its a good line up and worthy of a higher entrance but I didnt think of it. Off to find Lora's piggy bank now!!!!
  13. It sure is - There's Barkers meeting, Newports, Sheffields and Swindon. If budgets allow, there is a chance that we will do Newport and then Swindon but I will need to break into the piggy bank and count out the pennies first
  14. As is Chris Harris. But any rider with ambition will be there. They strive to be World Champion. Ask all 15 year old riders what their ambition is and they would say - to be World Champion. And Star Lady - can I have some of whatever it is you are on please?!
  15. Nothing to be sorry for. I personally didnt know him but he must have such a lovely guy as three diffeent people set up three different threads. Obviously a very popular gentleman and someone who will be missed by his friends and supporters
  16. What a great way to start our foreign trips. Italy, Poland, Sweden and Wales!!! I'll be there
  17. Hey Swine Town Very sad news indeed. There is already a thread on this news though here where many lovely tributes have already been made.
  18. I'll second that. Awsome coverage guys - thanks very much indeed.
  19. Definately. I would love common sense to prevail and the date changed. I would love to come down to this but I think I will be heading off to Newport as 1st choice.
  20. cause you said you wanted to start a campaign for 2010 - thats called stirring and I was just supplying you with the tools
  21. Tried to find a smiley of a wooden spoon but cant find one. And he wonders why people get cross with him when he purposely sets out to wind people up. And yes I bit!
