Classic At Newport

If I didnt know better I would call you 21st Century Heathen. He hates gloss paper - he earns his speedway spending money from the printing world so whenever there is a testimonal / individual meeting or we go to any an away meeting we get a 'very interesting' lecture on the merits of gloss v Matt!! Oh happy days!!!! -
Of course I dont remember - it was more than one sleep ago!!!!!! And your right - updates could possibly be made a lot easier (for you yougsters) by updating direct from the track. Also why does someone need to MSN you Sue when you could probably just get them to update the site direct. Could save a lot of troubles when you yourself have said how busy life is with the kids and study. This way you could just sit back and watch the results come in the same as the rest of us. Just a thought!

I think I will be happy to just stick at reading the updates if thats okay Bryn!

Skype is excellent. Its one of the ways Lynette Schlein and I keep the speedway gossip flowing even though we are thousands of miles apart. I dont have a posh phone hence the question - can you skype from a mobile? As for Holders competition I would love to say Rory Schlein. And under normal circumstances I would be shouting that aloud BUT - Roo has been very poorly in recent months (an after affect of his Ipswich 16 lapper injury) so unless he gets some strength from some good aussie steaks I am just praying he makes it through with a ticket for GP qualifiers. He wont have time for jet lag either as he has only just arrived home in Australia in the the last 24hours. Looking forward to following this and I too am sad that Freemantle arent covering - so much passion on the radio, I will miss that!

Leszno Gp - 24th April 2010
Sandie replied to GregM's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
In years gone by Phil had a couple fo brilliant threads running about travel info for all those off into Europe for GP's and WTC meetings. But the info is now possibly outdated. With Mod approval I have started a thread for each 2010 location to assist all of us heading out this coming season. These threads will be made sticky's so easy to find. Please use it to ask / answer and questions about Flights / accomodations / trains / taxi's/ trams / Event tickets etc. Hopefully this will keep all questions to one thread and make our trips a lot simpler to plan. -
Cardiff Stadium Seating Plan
Sandie replied to Haywood's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Haywood Its not easy to navigate but hope this helps: BRITISH FANS - Click here (Bottom right hand corner) TICKET TYPE - Click on 'order' on the value you are looking at paying. TYPE NUMBER OF TICKETS - in the quantity box NOW - it should make sense. The blocks on the stadium plan should now match the ticket types. And you still havent bought anything!!!! Hope thats what your looking for -

Agree 5pm a good time. Time to do all we want to do BEFORE the GP but also an early start allowing us to get back to the hotel and have plenty of bevvies and our 'party' after the GP. But note to self - Dont order so much pizza this time!!!!! -

When you say Bees Colin I assume you mean Bees assets? -
Spoke to Hubby about this (he works at Brum Airport) and he says - God knows, Ryan air change their routes all the bloody time at the moment!!!! Gone are the days when he could (sadly) look at a plane in the sky and tell me, airline and route and sometimes even crew!!!!!

Ian Just a little warning, which you must count to 10 about BUT I came on thinking this was something to do with Speedway Years Gone By! Be ready for it to be moved for GENERAL SECTION (non speedway). Im sure it wont be personal but it may reach a wider audience. Now - breathe 2,3,4.

Taken from the page above - Lettish, Czechs and Germans. Who is Lettish - Latvia maybe?? Also this suprises me as I thought the draw was being made early December!! So who does that leave in the Italy round if Norway are now added? We are planning on following the USA in the early round (I love the underdogs!) but didnt think we could plan our trip yet. Anyone got any info that would help. Thanks EDIT - found it. But we are sure it was supposed to be announced 4th December. But we now know we are going to Lonigo and will be against - Slovenia, Finland and Italy.

Sandie replied to Ben91's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Good luck to all the riders racing today. But please no loud noises in the pits. A few fragile riders after the Bees dinner dance. If there are updates I think I may just check them out. Should be an interesting afternoon. -
I would love to and be prepared one year I will turn up on our doorstep. I miss you lots and lots. xxxxxxxxx
-
Absolutely Dave. But I thought I would focus on your Countries Titles rather than the qualifying! This time its shoulder blade, collar bone and ribs! You would think he would learn by now that it hurts if you come off your bike! And only South I will be going to is Southampton Dave - sorry. And your right its so bloomin cold here- it was down to 17.3c today. Freezing!!!!

Rory will be riding but I doubt he will be fit enough this year to be honest. After yet another horrid crach last week he really should give his body time to heal. But unfortunately if your Australian and want to strive to be Aussie champion then you have to ride in the ' closed season'. Should be a very competitive field this year so it will need some strong hard riding.

BE AFRAID - BE VERY AFRAID -
Really Jenn? Whoever passed this information on to you up there in Manchester must have been at a different meeting to me! Ed asked NOT be to questioned on the GP leak as he was not going to discuss it. And I am sure he didnt break away from that agreement. It would seem that someone is stirring it!!!
