  1. All of the teams. Or will I find them in the Italian and Slovenian news threads!! Off to look and come back with news - I may be gone some time!
  2. and see's ITALY FINLAND SLOVENIA USA face each other in Lonigo. AS I understand it the USA team will be: Greg Hancock, Chris Kerr, Ryan Fisher, Kenny Ingall and Tommy Hedden (Gino Manzeres @ reserve) any one have details of the other teams please
  3. If you check google maps (or any map) you will find Tyndall Street / Herbert Street. There are a couple of private run car parks there - business ground. We pass these every year as our hotel is up that road. They seem well run and well looked after. Not sure of the price but I know a load of Newport fans that park up there
  4. Im at work and dont have my passport so typed ia series of numbers. I will try using 9 digits. Ta x EDIT - sorted - I think though it was telling me I had to agree to receive the newsletter before proceeding!
  5. Anyway out of giving my passport number. I have tried putting in random numbers but it keeps throwing back something in Polish at me!
  6. All booked finally - flights hotel and tickets. And seated back on turn 1 again. Couldnt be doing with turn 4 - far to mucky!!!
  7. God Im dim at times (no comment from the cheap seats!!!) Im sat here thinking - I didnt meet anyone new on Friday - just our normal group, maybe its Mummy Jo?? No, MummyJo doesnt live in Fakenham and then the penny dropped. See how quickly you fitted into the group - didnt class you as a first timer at all! Good to meet you too and hope the bed wasnt to uncomfortable x
  8. Have to agree with most of the points above. It was along tedious meeting and with a large number of heats only ending with three riders I feel cheated and want a refund! And Mr Watters - why could you not have awarded that heat (god knows what number - i had lost the plot by then) - you know the one that had already completed 3 laps!!!! I used nasty swear words towards you - and Im normally such a nice person. And the final. Silver Bee blames Rory but I would say - get used to it mate -you are going to see some strong hard riding this season. You moan when he's too soft and now your whinging when hes to tough. Learn to live with it SB!!!!
  9. Its showers SP. But they seem to be going through leaving clear skys. I think the meeting will win over the weather. See you in a few hours
  10. After a bit of 'fact finding' (although who is to say my 'source' is indeed an honourable gentleman and truthful!!) I have been lead to believe the following: All the riders or the BKM were asked to keep this coming Sunday free as a reserve date just in case. And this meeting was booked a long time before the Glasgow meeting was announced. So based on the above Bomber is honouring an agreement and I have no problem with that what so ever. The only bit that confuses me is this Polish Story. Was it just a cover up or a genuine reason. Because personally I dont feel a cover story was needed. A commitment has been made, Colin and Alun were given notice of this allowing them to arrange the Glasgow meeting without Bomber and everyone seems okay. Thats what I have heard - but whose to say - true or false!!!!!!!!
  11. Its not a matter of riding AGAINST anyone. Its a matter of riding WITH your club team.
  12. Agreed - a superb line up that speaks volume about the promotion. Really hope Sunday is good weather and the line up isnt to much changed
  13. What a shame. Hope the line up doesnt change to much by then. Edit - Bomber wont be there as he has a commitmnt in Poland (he isnt riding in a Bees meeting) so I hope this doesnt affect others.
  14. so you have one month to teach us how to navigate the site as its in your native tounge
  15. excellent piccies Steve - all 294 of the bloomin things!!! Best one for me was near the beginning and was Scott Nicholls, head back laughing. Dont think I have seen him so relaxed for years.
  16. oh confuzzled! Im sure the commentator guy said, as Ben walked passed him with an empty bucket, that he had run out of sweets and was going back to fill it up!!! And I believed that, although he never came near us with the refill. In fact, if it was a bucket he never came to the first bend side of the pits all meeting! Seriously, although I paid to get in, paid for my programme etc I was still ready to add a few quid to a bucket. WIll do it on the next venture to a stadium.
  17. Haha Rob. Okay no problem I'll have a written IOU ready for you x
  18. But you didnt come up with a formula to decide who goes through in the event of equal scores!! DOH. Three to final was my call as well. Seemed the right thing to do. BUt poor old Johno would have loved the chance of a semi. Did anyone check that Ben didnt supply a two headed coin for the toss up! Good fun meeting though and I am sure LOTS was raised. But as someone has just mentioned - why no collection buckets. Would have made a fortune. The little lady with the raffle tickets tried -but bless her heart, she wasnt assertive - it was a case of "Raffle tickets anyone, or maybe not! Okay" She was sweet, a lovely volunteer but not a goer! Please do not take the above as critism as it most definately isnt. Lots of people doing lots of work yesterday for the cause - excellent work and thanks to all of them. Just thoughts for future years.
  19. I agree. Someone earlier said - no atmosphere. Thats because there was no one getting the crowd going. Is that a rule! Fastest time goes through?? What are the rules relating to a 20 man meeting where they dont all meet. I called the 'all three to final' as I felt it was the fairest thing to do. Not sure about the coin toss though! It would have been much more entertaining taking into account the two characters to have done something like an egg and spoon race to find the 4th semi finalist!!! Not really any rules here - but some agreement between the riders. Well done to them.
  20. Arrived at 12 noon and parked pretty close to the stadium and went on inside. Found a place to park our backsides on 1st bend without a problem. But the stadium soon filled up - wonderful support. Time went pretty quick as it was great meeting up with people for the first time this season. Heat 1 was absolutely terrible. It was like a Car rally in a dust bowl!!! And to be honest we didnt see Nicki P go over the fence. It was all a pile of dust! But water was brought out immediately and I wont be as negative as the previous posters. Not much passing except a couple of sweeps by Crump around the outside and a fantastic last bend and pass of Scott's to beat Neils. We enjoyed our day out. Good meeting for a great cause.
  21. Not quite the answer they were looking for really was it! Sorry Bruno, cant help but hopefully someone can pull a racecrad together for you. Only been to Rye house a couple of times and I have a slight worry. Gates open 11 or 11.30am apparently according to someone last night (not read back through the thread sorry). So some people will head off to the stadium very early. Am I right in saying there is only one road leading up to the stadium? If so, and all this congestion is expected, can we expect a delayed start as the riders wont be able to get into the stadium??
  22. yep - according to the BSPA Not to Brandon unfortunately
  23. + K Kasprzak - according to his website + Linus Sundstrom - according to his website So - Thats all folks! Wonder how many of that 16 will be in the final line up????
  24. looks like 14 riders so far - LEIGH ADAMS, JASON CRUMP (Subject to fitness), TAI WOFFINDEN, RORY SCHLEIN, DANNY KING, KEVIN DOOLAN, EDWARD KENNETT, CHRIS NEATH, ADAM SHIELDS, NICKI PEDERSEN, SCOTT NICHOLLS, NIELS KRISTIAN IVERSEN, FREDDIE LINDGREN, FILIP SITERA.
