  1. Just been told by the other half, that having looked at the five day ash charts, its a good job we are coming back on Sunday and not Monday!!!!!
  2. ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ good old weather underground! EDIT - just been looking around and this is the best forecast HERE so I'm sticking with that. Don't like the BBC one at all so ignoring that! We've got funiculars to ride and Castles to visit. It cant be wet!
  3. Some one somewhere has the Forum Ark - wonder if we can get it over there. But no - think positive - the weather is improving.
  4. Well in true Cardiff style I'll go with the OVER THE RAINBOW finalists!!! And due to the fact that Lora has seen Lauren nude, I reckon we would be in the stadium to cheer her on!!!
  5. At the moment I am confident of travel. Following the ash charts very closely - official 5 day ones. Our only problem is we normally fly from Stansted but Manchester was cheaper - so if it were today - oopsie! But I am a glass half full girl - so we are going! Brilliant. That's the problem with some of the flights now - very late. And I guess that means you dont land back here until the wee small hours. But looking forward to catching up - normal place??
  6. Looking forward to this - weather is warming up nicely and ash cloud SHOULD be out of the way by end of Tuesday / beginning of Wednesday! Who else is heading out there?
  7. Well so be it - you need two balls to be British!!!!!! Sorry - couldn't resist!
  8. WOT - having met him, you still want to go back for a 2nd attempt! I thought it would only be first timers who would chance it! Sorry PB x
  9. Thanks for all 3 cards, Danish, Gambo and Turner (issued previously) This give us a choice of three to decide from. But if a majority don't use one particular type does that mean that the three of you have to get together and decide which spreadsheet should lead us into the Gothenburg GP Sorry - Election cabin fever!!!
  10. IF the rules were clearly written BEFORE the meeting then no argument at all. Lets hope this was the case
  11. Thinking about it - Sean was busy posting on here all the time whilst 21st dealt with this intruder. 21st - you are our new Hero! Sean is a Has- been! (Waiting for Shazzybird to bite)
  12. Im not calling 21st a hero!! Couldnt cope with his bragging on the terraces!!! LOL
  13. wow - that coffee this morning was strong wasnt it! LOL Seanie is our hero, Seanie is our hero!
  14. but I wanna watch - put the camera on - we want to see the blood and pain you are about to inflict!
  15. There has to be at least one of the wonder-drugs he is advertising that will do the trick!
  16. By the brave 4, your meaning the riders and not Matt Davis, Nikki, Lora and myself - the four travelling fans supporting America! And if your talking about the riders - I would say 5. Gino may not have ridden but he was definitely part of the team from start to finish.
  17. Which is indeed a huge shame. You hear lots of stories surrounding the AMA and the older riders and I'm not really sure whether Greg wanted to be in Italy or not. And unless I speak to him myself (which isn't likely to happen) I don't know if I will ever know the answer. There are two sides to every story and I am certainly not about to sit in judgement of him. All I know is that is was a disappointment he wasn't in Italy but the remaining riders have now stepped out of his shadow and ridden for Team USA as a new group of riders and the future of America
  18. So by that argument, any promoter paying the most money is entitled to call the shots. WRONG - Country should always outweigh club. Yes and we were. Having attended this meeting we were very disappointed with the news Greg would not be riding. He would have been back for his Polish fixture. And to be honest I really feel the result could have been different. Taking nothing away from the Fins, and indeed the Slovenians who came back with gusto, it really could have been three teams all going for that top place. Not very happy with the Gino situation. With the greatest respect to any team manager, ou would have thought this was basic knowledge number 1 - young rider - check the rule book. The young man was absolutely gutted but he was included in the whole event - parade and podium at the end. The USA team really did pull out all the stops to ride for each other on Saturday night. Chris and the Fish did their job well, Kenny rode so well but simply did not have the luck you need, so his points dont reflect his effort and Tommy tried but couldn't quite mix it. Very pleased we went to this - it was a very good meeting. And although we didn't speak - I have now seen Tomas (on the podium!!!) - not sure about the colour of your jackets though - bit erm - yellowy, greeny, icky!!! Good comeback guys
  19. Thanks Tomaz, no problem beating those Fins, but is it so important when its only for 2nd and 3rd!! GO TEAM USA!!!!
  20. Weirdly, I have just directed some Americans to this thread as its the only place that the WTC meeting is being discussed and they are keen to find a source for updates. Will either Slovenia or Finland be offering an update service for their fans? It would save us a lot of money texting America from Italy via the UK!!! And Tomasz / f.s.p. , sorry, no photos as its going to be a USA win!! (please)
  21. Now I know why you were so quick Iris - thanks. Strangely though, I use that website as well - but the link I have doesn't have that detail. Im really confussed and off to try and work out the difference. The one I'm in gives the Supp Regs though! (whoop whoop! ) It should be close and if we are really lucky, lovely and sunny aorund Lake Garda - bring it on and GO TEAM USA
