Blimey - not been on here since last night and its exploded. I made a promise that I wont get involved on the forum about this incident so I wont. But can I PLEASE ask both groups to call it a day, draw a line under this incident and move on. I know that, that is was Mrs Schlein would like to happen. PLEASE Maybe, if people have finished discussing the actual meeting it could be closed (to save those alcohol driven re-buttles) and we move forward to the race off and final. GO TEAM GB -

You should have been there - we were smothered. They came across like a plague of flies. They were in fact green flies. The covered everything around them and then as quickly as they arrived, they left. But for the 10 - 15 minutes it was horrid, people swatting and scratching and coughing as the swallowed them! Horrid - but thank god they disappeared. -

Well said Grachan. But also lets extend this arguement further. We have An English football team, a Scottish football team and a Welsh football team - Each Country is governed by a different 'Association' and run their own league and that is what gives them the right to being separate countries in the sport. So if we are English then this would mean that Newport would need to find its own Welsh speedway league and Edinburgh and Glasgow would need to find more Scottish teams to race against. If those who are adamant that this is Team England, then keep going and eventually you will get it, whilst at the same time you can say goodbye to Newport, Edinburgh and Glasgow to our BRITISH ENGLISH league. -
Oh Alun, That is very sad! Speedway ousted by Bingo!!! Try this link - http://www.wockychannels.com/speedway.php

Don't think he is BFD - If I remember, he didn't compete last year as he was injured. As for the other comment - a boy needs his mum from time to time! -

I would love to come up for this but for all those Edinburgh fans let this be a warning to you - Lynette and Lyndon Schlein are in the Country and will be heading your way for this meeting!!! One year I will make it up. But until then - updates it will be for me. Edited for accuracy!!! LOL -

Good for Sarjeant but as a neutral, following individual riders in this meeting, I would have liked to see Rich ride. Don't let SCB hear you say that - Gino is a product of the Dream Team, and you know his views on these!!! -

Don't count Richard out of this. He has bruising around his neck as it was the handlebars on his windpipe that caused last nights problem - but I think he wants to get back straight away - if he can. Oh I'm torn - Frankin for Dudley and Simmons for the Island. Going to try and get to this one but may find myself shouting for individuals rather than a team!!! -

Richard Franklin is fine. Spoke to his mum this morning and the problem was a bruised wind pipe! He had the handle bars go into his neck, hence oxygen etc on the track as it affected his breathing. He's home and apart from some bruising to the neck and his heal (!) he is fine and will hopefully be okay for Wednesday. -

Come on Pearcy dont you get it?! He's a Poole rider so it is obvious that (some) Coventry fans just have to say something distasteful, in the same way that some Poole fans have to do the same back at Coventry riders! Absolutely tedious, but it has to be done!
