  1. I’m sure within the next few days news will surface of the riders that won’t be retained, before their new clubs announce them!!
  2. Rew won the meeting with Tate second. Rew went through the cards unbeaten all night and looked a complete class above the rest. Tate was the only one to get anywhere near Rew. Pearson was third. Bowles looks a promising rider but had a heavy crash in first ride which destroyed his number 1 bike.
  3. I think the 4 which are obvious. Lawson, Ben Cook, Zach Cook and Ablitt. We will build with 1 solid reserve as normal and it works. We know 5th will be Worrall or King.
  4. I’m confident we may see a new Aussie in the team next year.
  5. After the semi final issues, I don’t think Richard wants to be anywhere near Glasgow. The only way Poole would let that happen if maybe a swap for Tom.
  6. Nope me neither! Why swap a rider then let him go back. Richard will be at Poole.
  7. With riders being announced the limit must be known for 2023.
  8. Only thing I don’t understand, why don’t he promoters keep the 42.00 current limit? With Leicester going up the likes of Morris, Howarth and Worrall become available and all 3 can’t go to Birmingham to strengthen them? So we have top riders available which could miss out on a champ place due to a low points limit?
  9. Cough - Plymouth - May is there any new 2.00 coming up through the system that would be any better? I honestly don’t know. Maybe there is someone but would they score more than Nathan?
  10. He has so much potential and natural talent, that’s the sad thing. Hope he can get his head in the right place for 2023.
  11. Pretty sure the ink has dried on that contract. Can we keep the top 3 under the point limit? King, Worrall, Lawson, Ben & Zach, Complin and Ablitt?
  12. To be fair Skidder it started well before heat 14! His body language wasn’t the best after his third ride and just got worse, no excuses for not being out on track with the boys after heat 12, before the heat 14 antics.
  13. Fingers crossed! Cook brothers are a must for 2023. Hoping we can keep top 3 and maybe only see 1 change. All down to the limit now, let’s hope it’s 40 or 41.
  14. What a night and well done to the Pirates! The travel up was worth every mile. Like Steve said earlier, back home by 1pm so not bad at all. Echo the comments on Drew, what was he thinking! After heat 12 he was the only one not on the track celebrating with the TEAM and to make it worse after heat 15 when medals where being handed out he wasn’t even on the track at that point, the lad needs to grow up and fast. He may never win another team title so he should have been celebrating and enjoying the experience. Don’t want him back at Poole in 2023 and clearly I think his attitude last night pretty much confirmed that. anyway what a night you mighty Pirates!!
  15. Well surely all this should have been put into consideration! We can all see rain is due over next few days.
  16. It looks like Buster has worked his magic and got the track back into shape! Think he will be required on Friday too to stop any last-minute issues depending on amount of rain over next 4 days! So, will Howarth be available now and will Morris be in the side?
