Would be a good move for Chris.
-
Kurtz will be his EL average surely and not his PL average.
-
I was reporting from the Polish website with regards to Chris being Jacks captain at Poole. I'm not so sure Matt will go with Chris now with a high average. I also read the SCB had capped riders at 12 but dosent seem the case with what the BSPA are now saying!!

Most In-demand Riders For The 2017 Season
Pirates Of Poole replied to poolebolton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I don't think there is any real steals for next season now. -
I think all premiership clubs will have one 3.00 rider at reserve!!
-
Hans 10.01 Kurtz 9.22 Lambert 8.76 Holder 7.16 Kyle 6.31 Ellis Perks 3.00 ??? 5.54 not sure who though
-
Well from what I understand the 3 riders above 12 - Doyle, NKI and Chris will only go to a max of 12 so has been capped. So next rider in 4th would be Jonsson on a 11.83.
-
Well according to this report today in the Polish press Jack will be at Poole in 2017 along with Chris who will be captain! http://www.pomorska.pl/sport/a/znamy-sklad-get-well-2017-grzegorz-walasek-i-jack-holder-podpisali-wroci-michael-jepsen-jensen,11420239/

King's Lynn Stars 2017
Pirates Of Poole replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Where has all this talk of Lambert to Poole come from? -
Some of the averages are incorrect, Holder is 8.95, Batch and Kurtz too all slightly higher.
-
To be honest looking at the averages I wouldn't run with Newman for an extra point you can get a rider like Batch or Jack. That's how I'm looking at it, who would up there average more!
-
So a few of the riders mentioned now have the following averages.... Holder 12.53 Kurtz 9.01 Harris 9.21 Hans 10.01 Batch 7.36 Neman 6.31 Jack 7.16 Can't see Chris Holder at Poole now or Hans!
-
Could see Brady coming back now with his pretty high average!
-
So I'm sure the first signing could be announced in the next 7 days once the AGM is done and dusted.
-
Depends if you go EL as expected!
-
So according to today mirror newspaper Somerset plus 2 other clubs are targeting a move into the Elite League.
-
What's this I hear Newman has signed for next year on a 3.79 average - bargain I say 😁
-
Yeah?
-
Yeah Holder has stated he wants to stay, but that isn't his decision.
-
Kennett will be at Rye then 👍
-
He was yes.
-
Poole have retained all the Peterborough assets under Frost including MJJ,Batch and Buzz. I'm sure Brady will be at Poole next year, he is now a CLUB ASSET. Can't see Jack getting a look in. From what Matt has said already Milik, Hans and Newman are required.

Who Owns Their Own Stadiums
Pirates Of Poole replied to CookieIpswich's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Poole stadium is owned by Poole council,it was donated to them by Lord and Lady Wimborne many years ago on the agreement it must only be used for sporting events within the town. Sadly the council had to sub let the site as they are not allowed to use it as a profit making venture! -
I think it's clear to see Matt wants riders who are passionate and want to ride for the club. You could see from Newman straight after the meetingon social media he was gutted. we never did see that from any other rider and I would have expected to see it from Chris and even Brady, that could be seen as not caring, I don't know. Chris tweets bits about Torun a lot and Sweden but never the UK. Doyley tweeted after Swindon went out, Darcy was also a pro at connecting with the fans. Different people I know and each person deals with down falls in different ways. Me personally Chris has been a loyal servant to Poole and has upped his average this year, but with his off track issues he keeps having he brings nothing but baggage with him. Maybe a year away from the club would do him good.
