  1. THJ looking at a possible return to UK racing, on his average he would be a potential bargain.
  2. Rider of the year-Robert Lambert - outstanding this year from the young British Star. Most impressive team-Kings Lynn, unlucky in the final parts of the season with injury’s that easily cost them the league title. 3. Interesting the final set of averages have not been put up on the BSPA website, normally this is put up the end of October. Is this because plans afoot will mean averages will be changing?
  4. Major issue with Championship, the Premier was all done and dusted. The championship is the main reason the sport In the UK is dragging. Time for the top league to separate and go alone leaving some the championship to argue amongst themselves.
  5. The sport needs an independent panel which should be run by a commercial/promo comany who would bring fresh ideas to the sport.
  6. I can ussure you it won’t be either of the latter!
  7. Nope and that is the problem, do the same as past few years and British Speedway will be finished. As normal they will try and water down and product that has continued to be watered down Over the past 8 years!
  8. So with 2019 who would you like see retained in the Poole team for 2019? 1 defianate on a bargain 6.75 will surely be Brady Kurtz, should put a point on that average.
  9. I disagree over the past decade winning team have had to be ripped apart.
  10. Think the reality is we will soon be a semi professional sport within the UK. Arguments going on behind the scenes not much agreement and these people are supposed to have the interest of the sport at heart. Sadly too many are only interested in their own club and little bubble around them. Too many ego’s in the room too, it’s no coincidence that we have ‘decent’ people leaving the sport because the old wood in the sport can’t see further than there nose. Take the Peterborough info now finally realised this week, how can someone who is investing in our sport and buying assets then be punished and lose out? Seems to be the same people within the top table doing more and more damage year in year out. The sport has been sold up the river in the last 10 years, the TV deal is an absolute joke and to think the money involved before to now! Make the sport simple and stop punishing winning teams, fans want to see more continuity with riders who they can connect with, not having to sack them because they were too successful.
  11. That sounds like common sense, so that’s out the window that option.
  12. Thought I would start this thread to discuss the main points of the AGM, not sure of the exact date but normally around mid-November. I’m hearing 2 clubs will be coming up from the Championship.
  13. I made that clear on the thread before the meetings were run, but everyone seemed to ignore it. Nick in theory was under Brady’s average, it was only down to the cut off took place just before Swindon’s last meeting.
  14. That was because the cut off for the averages took place just before Swindon’s last meeting on the 27th September which afterwards confirmed Nicks final average for team building in 2019 as 6.74.
  15. No was supposed to be but Cook undercut Matt after agreeing the fee and sending the cheque.
  16. Well firstly commiserations to Kings Lynn, with MPT & Iversen along with heat 12 at Poole the score would have swayed in their favour. A fantastic achievement by Matt & Middlo to win there 8 league title, and what a way for them to bow out. An interesting time ahead for Poole! Poole Pirates 2018 Premiership League Champions.
  17. Well said that man! Fingers crossed for a great entertaining meeting tonight & all riders stay safe and Injury free. KL will be pushing Poole very hard from the start which should take it to the wire.
  18. Depends if MPT is fit to ride with his wrist injury & how Buster preps the track.
