Another way to look at it is £5 x 2000 = £10000£13 x 600 = £7800 £17 x 200 = £3400 Total £11200 Not much different when you take the age profile of the average Speedway fan into account! -

All going very well at the moment 41-43!!! -
OK fair enough but as I said some post ago, I don't think we'll see Adrian back for a long time-"I return slowly". Confused as to what the options are after Peter finishes or what Rosco's thinking is about post-June. No doubt we will find out after the event!
-
He'll be here longer than that and as I said, they publicly announced that they had had a suit made for him.
-
Is it me or did I read somewhere that PK had a race suit ready for his first meeting-definitely wearing a shirt over his Kevlars. Are Swindon that hard up that they can't afford one for him?

For Swindon Speedway Admin read, incompetent!

Robins Vs.the Kings Lynn Stars
Chalkie replied to Crazy robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Thought that was a cracker! Nice touch bringing Kylie round on the trike at the start of the meeting but I think Swindon have missed a trick in not acknowledging the lads achievement on page 3 of the programme-any chance of using your influence Orlovski? -

Which meeting were you at? I thought that there was a decent amount of passing. To be honest it was lacking atmosphere but I think I was glad just to get a meeting through with no injuries, although Morris did his best to wipe out Nicholls-that young man needs to calm down a bit! Gobey! -

Better turn back and come again on Monday at 4:30! -
Shouldn't be their what?

It came just before the National Anthem of GB! (You had to be there!)

Sorry Red Robin but I have to disagree with you there! Scott had a poor season by his standards as part of a very poor team. I never saw him give up and felt that he gave 100% but it just wouldn't work for him. I for one think we were very lucky to have him, even in that rather disappointing season that was 2011.

What a miserable post! Well done Rosco-good luck in the new job but keep focussed on the Robins as well!

Bbc Sports Personality Of The Year
Chalkie replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Briggo came 2nd in 1964 to Mary Rand, with Anne Packer 3rd (in an Olympic Year) and he also came 2nd in 1966 (the year of the English World Cup victory) to Bobby Moore, with Geoff Hurst 3rd-just goes to show how low Speedway has sunk-and that was prior to the days of the internet when campaigns could be stirred up on Facebook and/or Twitter! -
Tai Woffinden
Chalkie replied to David Haddock's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I don't know whether this has been posted elsewhere but thought you would all like to see/hear this, start at about 29 minutes when the interview starts :- http://talksport.com/football/sports-brief-and-murray-meets-tai-woffinden-13110566921 I am now a great Woffy fan and hope that his success in the SGP can be used by British promoters to expand the fan base!
