  1. No worries, hopefully it was good news, it'd be good to go & see some racing in Poznan next time I'm there. Big 5-1 that for ZG, Davidsson comes good at last!!
  2. Can any of our Polish friends explain what the guy from Poznan was saying please? Will there be racing in Poznan again soon?
  3. Away from this match, just seen a pic of Rory Schlein's wrist on Twitter, injured racing for Orzel Lodz today. Looks sore, he says he'll get it checked out tomorrow.
  4. Got a better stream for this match than the stuttering one I got for the Tarnow/Gorzow match. Dudek looking very quick today!
  5. Just read your comment about young Garrity there Shadders - reminded me of watching a fledgling Andy Smith round the old Hyde Road, felt the same way. I was 12 years old, damn I feel old!
  6. 2 out of three for me, Mroczka had one of his "nights", he can be terrible or brilliant with little middle ground. Btw just heard a pretty despondent Staechmann on Radio Cambridgeshire hinting at changes, but praising Hougaard in that his score didn't do justice to the way he rode tonight. On that basis, Kosciuch's place must be in doubt??
  7. Good evening, got great stream, lookin forward to some decent racing tonight, while the mighty Aces prosper at PBoro, hopefully! Credit to any Tarnow fans who've made the trip to the MotoArena on a Friday night, that is a long way for a match that's on tv! Pulczynski looking quick so far.
  8. Have bet on Aces +6, Zagar over 11 & Mroczka over Sundstrom too.
  9. Ah well, that David Luiz goal saved me from a losing night overall. Eagles surprised me tonight, expected more from the Robins. Maybe a couple of quid on the Aces tomorrow night, we'll see....
  10. I'm on Swindon at -18 (4/5), can see their powerful top 5 giving the Eagles a really tough time tonight. Prediction 58-32.
  11. Good job Pedersen managed to get rid of the bike just in time, could've been really nasty! Hope everyone's fit to continue.
  12. Fantastic performance from Woffy today, the guy's in the form of his life, great to see! 15pt max & helped clinch last heat 5-1 to win the match for Wroclaw 45-44. Time to go n get a couple of beers in ready for Rzeszow/Czestochowa.. :-)
  13. Fantastic racing tonight, really enjoyable. I thought the Eurosport coverage was excellent too. It served as a reminder why we all love the sport so much - despite its seemingly endless ability to shoot itself in the foot at times & drive you mad!
  14. Latest online 7-10 day weather forecasts for Poland suggesting temperatures picking up in time for the fixtures on 14th April. Let's hope they are right!!
  15. Thanks R & R, hope in a weeks time there's some sign of warmer weather, here & in Poland!
  16. I hope so too - am in Gdansk that weekend, plan on going to their match at home to Orzel Lodz. Has there been any indication as to possible restaging dates for rounds 1 & 2?
  17. NZ GP Predictions: Martin Vaculik - 6 Niels K Iversen - 6 Krysztof Kasprzak - 6 Antonio Lindback - 9 My spread bets as per post #16. Cheers. :-)
  18. No - someone he might listen to. I didn't mention his team manager - you did.
  19. Hope someone can take him to one side, someone he respects & looks up to - reminds him what an incredible talent he is, as well as exactly what he has to lose. He's still very young, he's not the first at that age to make bad decisions, I know I did. I learnt from those mistakes & hopefully he will too. Regardless of who we support it'd be a terrible shame if his talent went to waste - on a speedway bike he is everything our sport needs right now. No less than Jason Crump tweeted last year to the effect that he was the most natural talent on a speedway bike he'd seen since Per Jonsson, high praise indeed. I really hope he'll get, & listen to, some sound advice, gets his work permit for the UK for 2013 & shines - including two visits to my team Belle Vue this summer.
  20. I don't blame Poole either for wanting to keep Ward & Holder together, even though my team Belle Vue will struggle to find anything resembling a number 1. They are box office in the current EL, as the massive queues at our fixture with Poole last season showed. I look forward to seeing them twice at Kirky Lane later this year, though I guess I'm looking forward to it more than they are! Back on topic, looks a real solid King's Lynn side this year, top 3 finish a minimum requirement I'd have thought. Look forward to visiting Saddlebow Road, will have a few quid on a Rory Schlein max that night!
  21. You're quite correct Rob, especially pre-Cardiff. I was thinking back to when Nicki was well adrift in mid-season of Greg. Holder has been well adrift on a couple of occasions too. Just hope its a cliff-hanger whoever wins it & it goes all the way to the final heat. 20/1 with some bookies on Greg to win it, might have a couple of quid on - just in case.
