Thanks guys, must be a problem with my settings - streams worked fine on my old laptop, just not on this new one! Enjoy the matches.
-
I'm getting no stream at all at the moment, tried all 3 matches. Anyone else struggling??
-
Thanks R & R, much obliged.
-
My stream working well too. Is there any link to the heat scores for this? Thanks.

Was hoping for better from young Wozniak, was impressed by him when I first watched him in Poland last year. He's been really disappointing tonight though.

Belle Vue Vs. Mildenhall (nl)
mikec replied to Parsloes 1928 nearly's topic in National League Speedway
Appreciate your comeback HalifaxTiger. I agree that the racing wasn't great on Monday night, through no lack of effort on the riders of either side. A guy near me commented that the track was the best he'd seen it all season. A real change from the dusty conditions we've had so far after the warm weather we've had. Someone said that the dirt we have to use now after the GRA complained of the previous track material upsetting the greyhound's paws contributes to racing quality in some way?? Some years ago the track did provide decent racing, particularly when Jason Lyons was in his pomp & latterly when Crumpy wore the Ace of Clubs. In the last 2 or 3 years the quality of racing seems to have deteriorated - I feel that a fair chunk of this is out of the BV management's control. It's a forum & your honest comments are welcome, hopefully just like mine are. It's not a cheap hobby following your team away, in this day and age any away support is most welcome - was good to see a few Fen Tigers made the trip. So despite the poor racing, debatable track conditions, over the top bar prices, poor stadium and viewing, will I be there for the next Colts match? Definitely. The likes of Garrity & Howarth are real talents & it'll be fascinating to watch their development. -

I was at the match last night, having read the various opinions I would concur mainly with garyy's summing up of what went on. To say that there was only 200-250 people there is nonsense. If there was 250 people inside & say 300/400 outside dotted around, then I doubt Mort & DG would be too upset. That'd be a more accurate crowd reflection. Saw DG sat front table inside bar overlooking start line, seemed happy enough. As for the track, after the recent "drought" up here it was a relief to not see plumes of dust & think the disparaging comments about the track are out of order. Grading took place, was the track not the same for all 14 riders?? Thought Jack Hargreaves, young Baseby & Lewis Blackbird battled hard against a Colts side who'll take a lot of beating at KL. For the Colts McKinna & Garrity were excellent, though I was really impressed with Kyle Howarth - races with good style, Monarchs fans could be in for some good scores from him as the season goes on. Footnote for Halifax Tiger et al - the atmos even at EL Aces meetings is often poor. We're in a dire stadium where we've not been wanted for years. Viewing is poor, facilities are tired at best. How about a bit of praise for a promotion who are about to build a stadium that will provide a shot in the arm for the whole of the sport in the UK, encouraging promising young speedway riders, several hundred punters turning out to support it & applauding your riders when they won, as last night turned out it wasn't that often. -
Just agreeing with a previous post - went to Torun 3 times last year (for Torun v Gorzow in Extraliga, the GP, then after watching Man City at Lech Poznan). You'll have a great time, plenty of bars, places to eat, culture, great atmosphere - enjoy.

Grand Prix Speedway 2011

Wouldn't argue with many of the comments about Crumpy - fully fit I feel there's another world title there for him. From what I saw of Kolodziej last season I'd be well surprised if he doesn't finish top 6 in the series - fantastic to watch. -

Was talking to a fellow Aces fan today who echoed your sentiments about Gollob, I totally agree too. From what I saw of him at Torun 2 weeks ago he flies round there racing lines most of the others wouldn't try (was beaten only by Holder I think in 6 races). With Crump & Pedersen not dominating this time, Hancock on the dip, Adams gone, Gollob'll never have a better opportunity of becoming world champ. -
Polish Ekstraliga Sunday 23rd May

Passed the old stadium on the no.1 tram to the stadium, was sad in a way, memories of watching TRick, Gollob & Crump, as well as a raw promising 17 yr old Karol Zabik, memories of seeing the racing there are still quite fresh. The new stadium & track are fantastic, recommend it to anyone. Terrific match on Sunday - the grand prix there should be very special. At 32-22 to Torun it looked all over but credit to Gorzow with Pawlicki outstanding, Gollob commanding, Pedersen upsetting people as usual - inc Miedzinski, Ward and a whole lot of Torun fans (pantomime villain stuff in truth), and Zagar coming good at the end when needed. Found a bar off the main square for the Leszno/Tarnow match, was never gonna live up to the first match though was it. So back in a month's time for the GP, followed by Bydgoszcz/Wroclaw & some World Cup footy - can't wait!! -

They came round with bags of scarves to throw to the remaining home fans on the first & second turns - good PR I guess. -

Thanks, was a bit concerned, especially as Gollob & Pedersen are in town. Going to the GP in June so going this weekend to get my bearings around the new stadium. Went to the old Torun track a few years ago, I believe the new stadium is in the same area, a couple of miles outside the centre of town? -

Hope someone can help me. My girlfriend & I will be in Torun on Sunday afternoon, will I be able to buy tickets for the match at the stadium or is it likely to sell out in advance? Also will the later match be on tv in some of the bars in Torun afterwards - any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks. -

Crumpy as my captain for the Prague round please. -
That's interesting, I placed my bet with Boylesports just after 11pm on Weds night - price showing 20/1. Looked again yesterday and the price had changed to 8/1 with them - but Hampel's name was still in the same place half way down their list. I just assumed they'd dropped a clanger with 20's for him. I'm quite happy to copy/paste the bet details off my account on to here if asked. The outright betting market is strangely listed under "Drivers Championship" & Mick is right in saying Hampel is 20's for the overall title with them.

Small each way bets for me on this one: Hampel 20/1 Boylesports Holta 50/1 BetFred

Hope he has a strong finish to his GP career tomorrow night. Been a top pro & a credit to the sport, as well as a terrific example to the young Aussies coming along behind him. -
Agreed Tarabanko - the battles between Sajfutdinov, Crump & the Poles on a proper race track should be great - rain stay away!!
