  1. Sad about Rzeszow going down, as Pawel's said in the past there's been little consistent support for Pedersen & Walasek most of the season, reserves weak too. Commiserations Pawel.
  2. Agreed there Alan, decent stream (at the moment), exciting afternoon's racing ahead, thanks to R&R & Pawel in advance. Fingers crossed for the Cranes in Bydgoszcz Pawel...
  3. 12 Emil Sayfutdinov 12 Tai Woffinden 10 Darcy Ward 8 Matej Zagar
  4. I agree, and with rounds to come at his dad's track (Gorican) & his home Polish track (Rzeszow) those decent scores might not be too far away for him.
  5. Agreed, I'd have said all 4 back too. What do we know about young Mazur, looked ok there.
  6. I'm sure it'll be grippy, expecting a big performance from Janusz Kolodziej round his old track.
  7. I'm guessing that you are a Torun fan for the next couple of hours Pawel??
  8. You called it correctly, some decent racing today, Iversen inspired after his win last night. Hopefully the two points gained helps Rzeszow avoid relegation at the end of the season.
  9. Terenzano predictions: Nicki Pedersen (11), Jarek Hampel (11), Martin Vaculik (6), Leon Madsen (4)
  10. I wonder if Gniezno follow a similar plan to Bydgoszcz now that they are doomed - will they let the likes of Matej Zagar go maybe??
  11. Nice tiara & pink gown she's wearing too!! Anyway, back to today's match.....
  12. I'm going to the final Euro Championship round at Rzeszow in September - I might get to see Ms Poltarak in the flesh Alan!! I shall pass on your regards for you..... Decent heat 7, good battle between Holta & Walasek, & a good point for Sowka too. By the way that's a good shout about Izabella, she's rather impressive Pawel.
  13. You'll have to hope Gniezno & Wroclaw lose their next few matches, so that a win at Bydgoszcz in the final round will keep your team up - or am I being a bit optimistic???
  14. Looks a tough assignment for Pawel's boys today, though I'm sure Nicki will have them fired up & hopefully they'll keep the score close.
  15. According to AccuWeather it's been 36 deg C in Gorzow today - great for beer sales (& beer bellies) I'm sure! Impressed by Gapinski & Zmarzlik for Gorzow. A quieter day for Przedpelski, but he's battled hard, all part of his speedway education. Must be worrying times for Torun regarding the playoffs, looking vulnerable away without Holder (unsurprisingly) & Czestochowa looking stronger by the week.
  16. Thanks, my F5 working fine (after initial panic when stream stopped) - unlike the Torun side so far! The phrase being used most in their pits I'm guessing is " find a set-up..." Flying start from Gorzow though.
  17. Your stream's working nicely here, thanks. Looking forward to watching young Przedpelski fly around Gorzow.
  18. Cheers R&R. Artem's shown some great form at times this season, he'll mix it with the GP regulars that night I'm sure.
  19. Really enjoyable meeting, plenty of decent racing & talking points throughout. Loved the way Grigory Laguta raced in that last heat - there's an element of daredevil, with no mean amount of skill about the lines he tries. I hadn't watched too much of him in the past - have become a fan of his this season! Liked the Go-Pro shots, some great shots from that. Look forward to the Togliatti round - heard excellent things about the stadium/track, hopefully a couple of lesser known Russian wildcards will be included & mix it with the GP big guns. Should be fun if last night's anything to go by...
  20. Your scepticism is understandable Oldace, with the length of time it's dragged on & the long periods of no information being updated. I've been an Aces follower for 34 years & would like to add a few more years to it, as it's clear you would too. In my opinion the project is a no-brainer for the Gorton/Longsight/West Gorton area of East Manchester, as well as the wider community. The City Council Executive saw it that way a few months ago, hopefully their Planning Committee will shortly see it in the same light.
  21. I actually said that I detected a desire from some forum members for the project to fail & asked to be enlightened. I got two or three replies, including yours, stating that this is certainly not the case. Fair enough, my question answered. I don't know you or what you think, the continually negative air running through your series of Stadium related posts intrigued me so I decided to question the undercurrent behind them. Judging by the tone of your last couple of replies I seem to have touched a raw nerve with you, that wasn't my intention. As for Dave Gordon & Chris Morton, their PR & feedback to the fans in terms of the project could be a lot better, I think in hindsight they would probably acknowledge that. I recall at the fans meeting at Kirky Lane in April they mentioned that their feedback in terms of protracted team building (no news on it for months - sound familiar?) could be better. One thing I can tell you about the pair of them is that they are approachable & will answer questions if they can. I spoke to Dave Gordon on Belle Vue related issues at Gorton Monastery at the Stadium launch, after the main presentation had ended. He called a spade a spade & didn't duck anything awkward that I asked him. Mort is a similar type from listening to him on a number of occasions. If you haven't seen the Belle Vue Sport Village PDF, which describes the scheme in detail, I'm sure me or someone else could happily forward it to you. Alternatively, you could email Dave Gordon or Chris Morton direct, as I have, with specific queries. You're right that discussion, be it positive or negative, is healthy & should continue on here. I'll read on with interest. To many people it's mainly a national stadium/training centre, which if it fails won't directly impact their club or their lives. For me & fellow Aces fans, if it fails Belle Vue is no more - fact. That prospect haunts all Aces fans. So if posts get a bit emotive or strong towards your so-far largely negative posts, just bear that fact in mind, it's not personal.
