  1. Wasn't bad watch in the end, Doyle & Korneliussen excellent, like the look of Drabik & Woryna too.
  2. After last week's fiasco at Tarnow, it looks like Czestochowa back to full strength for the clash with Torun. Should be some match!
  3. That runaway bike was a bizarre incident - had the cheerleaders worried for a second there!
  4. Was a class act & one of the top riders around when I first started watching speedway. Really sad news to hear. RIP Simmo.
  5. Brilliant first match, match no.2 has a lot to live up to! Btw, I see Gdansk have been hammered at home by Leszno. Good job Balinski struggled or it'd have been a similar score to that at Tarnow.
  6. Just seen the Czestochowa team - no wonder they're getting blitzed! Are the Lions financial issues going to be sorted out soon? Seems a shame as their full strength team is outstanding. The line up for heat 13 there must be the biggest speedway mismatch in history! Sad really. Vintage AJ in heat 14, brilliant ride, great to see!
  7. Add heat 11 to the list of excellent races today. This Wroclaw side really giving ZG a real run for their money.
  8. Excellent racing, not always a big fan of the ZG track but good stuff so far. Wroclaw look in the mood to give the home team a real fright today.
  9. And I missed most of it - typical! Kenni Larsen looked mighty impressive in heat 15. I'm sure he'll be in Bees colours in time for my visit to Brandon on June 13th. Good result for the home team, Ms Poltorak will be a happy lady.
  10. Hi gents, a bit late joining you all today - thanks to Virgin Media for finally getting their act together! Bit of a mixed day for Scott Nicholls I see, hopefully will be better at Swindon tomorrow. Has it been a decent match?
  11. Thanks R&R. Just watched it, some great racing on a proper race track, Pepe showing he's still a class act.
  12. :-) Doesn't normally work that way! What a sting in the tail that was. Credit to ZG, Leszno will feel like they've had their pockets picked! The Leszno reserves were outstanding tonight.
  13. Looked like Pawlicki hit the spot that claimed Dudek in heat 1 on that 4th bend. Can Pepe roll back the years & help Hampel win the match for Falubaz???
  14. Real gutsy 2nd place from AJ, still got it. Going to a last heat decider this one..
  15. Hopefully Dudek's just winded, seemed relatively happy in interview. Some class racing & double Daria this weekend - we are truly spoiled. :-) Pleased everyone escaped the first bend in heat 2, for a split second it looked a bit hairy!
  16. Hope Dudek's okay, hit the fence real hard, hope the back protector did it's job. Sporting applause from the Leszno fans, good to see. :-)
  17. Vaculik looks unstoppable at the moment, vintage Greg Hancock today too! Looking a bit iffy for Torun at this stage.
  18. He looked quite a character the guy in the hat didn't he - not to messed with after a heavy defeat i bet though! Club president I think? Comfortable home win, like the look of the Lodz reserve Drabik too. Looking forward to the Torun/Tarnow match now. If the racing's as impressive as the Torun start girls are looking then we're in for a treat. :-)
  19. Wow what a heat 15!!!!! Take a bow Janowski, Jensen & Woffy - awesome stuff. :-)
  20. Hadn't seen much of Dolny & Malczewski before tonight, impressed, the Polish conveyor belt of young talent continues..
  21. Have to agree with you on both counts. Team racing rules for me. And as a fully paid-up member of the Daria fan club it's great to see her fronting the coverage today. Woffy & Batchelor looked good but the Lions look a very solid side, even without Mr Laguta.
