  1. Hadn't seen much of Dolny & Malczewski before tonight, impressed, the Polish conveyor belt of young talent continues..
  2. Have to agree with you on both counts. Team racing rules for me. And as a fully paid-up member of the Daria fan club it's great to see her fronting the coverage today. Woffy & Batchelor looked good but the Lions look a very solid side, even without Mr Laguta.
  3. Excellent racing in heat 9. Loktaev & the reserves doing a great job for ZG so far. Time for the real AJ to make a contribution..
  4. I saw on Twitter that they had been in Poland recently "testing". It would seem it didn't work - back to the drawing board! No such problems for Scott Nicholls, enjoying an Indian summer, 11 points. Let's see what Messrs Ward, Sajfutdinov & co have in store today, a hot reception from the ZG fans guaranteed after last year's playoff farce.
  5. I agree, no sentiment in pro sport, think you'll be proved right, sooner rather than later.
  6. Wonder how long the Rybnik hierarchy will stay patient with Harris & Bridger?? Sad to see they're struggling again. Scott Nicholls' excellent early season form continues.. Last heat decider in Wroclaw.
  7. Wonder what the Polish word for "mare" is, because Gorzow are having one today! Credit to Tarnow though, they look mighty impressive on their home track, blown Gorzow away.
  8. Great move from Holder there, when he regains full fitness/sharpness this Torun juggernaut will take some stopping. Awesome display from Darcy Ward tonight. Bit disappointed again by Troy Batchelor, he seems to have hit a glass ceiling progress-wise. Good to see Daria back on the League coverage on a regular basis too.
  9. I'm sure Nicki Pedersen will store that move by young Zmarzlik in the memory bank for future retribution! The home side running hot today, very little the Bulls can do about it.
  10. You have a keen eye & excellent taste Alan. And the racing's pretty good too!
  11. Kenneth Bjerre looking very quick tonight, back to the form he was showing two or three years ago. Credit to the Lions for the fight they've put up, the loss of G Laguta & MJJ would hurt most clubs. Hopefully both are fully fit asap. Some class racing this weekend, not to mention the big upset at Gdansk. Welcome back Ekstraliga!
  12. If I had any life savings I'd definitely put em on Holta to win this re-run! :-) Good job I have no life savings - terrible tipster!
  13. No Laguta - that's a downer! :-( At least Kildemand's racing, should revel in the wide open spaces of Leszno.
  14. Wow, what a result for Gdansk! The bookies reckoned a 20 point Torun win. Well pleased for Artur Mroczka, had a terrible time with my team, a hero today though. Excellent racing in the Wroclaw/Gorzow match. Now for the main event at Leszno - with Pedersen, Laguta, Holta we should be in for a great match.
  15. More brilliant racing in heat 10 - bit of 'feeling' between Zmarzlik & Jedrzejak too. Great stuff.
  16. Looks like the excellent young reserve Pieszcek is saving Gdansk from a mauling by the Torun 'All Stars'. Fear for Gdansk this season, they look weaker than Gniezno did last year - and look where they finished up!
  17. Excellent battle between Magic & NKI. Sparta coach needs to get Batch & Jedrzejak firing if this is going to stay close. Racing half decent by Wroclaw standards so far.
  18. Should be a close one this - really like the look of the Stal team. Solid top 5 containing big hitters & excellent reserve pairing.
  19. First time I've seen Woryna, looks a lively reserve. Here we go with last heat decider, Dakota North to be the home hero??
  20. Bomber not having his finest day. Looks under-powered & gating as mediocre as ever. Sad to see.
  21. They sure will, long trip back for them too. Vaculik carrying forward the form he showed in winning the Euro title at Rzeszow - rapid!
  22. Really impressive effort from Tarnow today, look a really solid side. Great to see an on-song flying Kolodziej, one of the finest sights on a speedway track imo.
  23. Seems that Torun have laid out some serious money for the Gniezno reserve Oskar Fajfer, see link below: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/410443/kosztowny-transfer-unibaksu-wicemistrz-polski-zaplacil-za-oskara-fajfera-400-tys Don't know too much about him myself, was wondering how he compares with other promising young Poles like Pieszczek, Przedpelski & Czaja. Hoping R&R or one of our other Polish contributors can enlighten us. Thanks.
