  1. Good afternoon. This stream working well for me - it comes complete with Daria too Alan! http://livefree-001-site1.mywindowshosting.com/looknij/nsport.htm
  2. Some top drawer racing tonight, great effort from both teams, roll on Sunday for more of the same!
  3. Hello gents, managed to see all 3 heats so far despite stream troubles. No troubles for Ward, carrying on where he left off last week!
  4. Careful Alan, you'll have Nicki's loyal band of apologists after you with comments like that! Good call on Doyle too, proved you right in heat 2.
  5. Another solid team effort from the Aces tonight in beating a weakened Hammers side. Credit to Lakeside though, they battled hard. After his heat 1 fall chasing Max Fricke, AJ looked quick ending up going unbeaten in his last three rides, a classy ride to keep out Matej in a close run heat stood out, had all angles covered. Dakota North was terrific all night, no surprise, he really seems to like the Kirky Lane track, probably be one of the few who is that sad that we're moving! For the Aces Fricke was on song but couldn't get the better of North late on. Reserves did their job as ever at home, Cookie & the skipper seemed a bit under powered, no lack of effort though. Josh looked more like his old self after recent events. Plenty to ponder for the Aces as the pivotal clashes with the Pirates & Robins loom.. Want to give a mention to Mikkel Bech, withdrawn from the meeting on medical grounds - would've been easy for him to sit in the pits fed up. Stayed out after the interval with the Ben Fund collection bucket as the match went on, collecting from the Aces fans inside the grandstand. Was good to see, nice one Mikkel - get well soon!
  6. Any updates on the condition of Dawid Krzyzanowski? Looked a really heavy impact, hopefully good news soon.
  7. A few might, though it seems as though plenty more will take a lot more convincing!
  8. Stunning 20 point performance from Ward today - liked his gesture after final race, seemed like he was saying to the travelling ZG fans "what more can I do to get you guys on my side." That was how it seemed to me anyway..
  9. Me too, he's looking seriously quick today, AJ looking much more like his old self too.
  10. Thought Lakeside were excellent at BV last time & Dakota North's an excellent choice of guest for this Monday night, he's good to watch around Kirky Lane. Hoping Matej's injury tonight in Denmark doesn't cause him any issues, as he's been in stunning form lately. Also that Josh is back to the form of a couple of weeks ago. No room for home slip-ups from the Aces now, gotta admit I'm a bit nervous about this one...
  11. Considering the fact that many visiting riders don't fancy the Belle Vue track on a dry night (let alone a wet one), I was impressed by Musielak last night, rode well. Would be amazed if he doesn't feature in the Wolves 2016 line-up. The other rider I want to mention is Stefan Nielsen. He has really progressed in the last couple of months. Last season he looked promising at times, at other times a fall waiting to happen! He looks much smoother & more composed now, & his scores are reflecting that. He's popular with the Aces fans, seems a polite kid with a good attitude, & I hope he is part of the set-up at the new stadium next season, for me he's earned that chance.
  12. It's a really tough call to make, especially as this Aces side is more than capable of beating strong Poole & Swindon sides - only to lose at lowly Wolves at the end of August! Have enjoyed watching the 2015 Aces side, entertaining, but been dogged by inconsistency from one meeting to the next. Swindon fans know what happens on the rare occasion that the full Aces team clicks together. Ward's signing is massive, and if there's any chance of Morris returning in time for mid-August, the Robins are an even more formidable proposition, especially at Kirky Lane. I feel that King's Lynn have enough to secure 3rd & I fear the "Ward factor" will see the Robins take 4th spot, just.
  13. Was really looking forward to tomorrow night's match, decent weather forecast & two decent teams in action - with the Aces making an all too rare push for the end of season playoffs. But having heard about events at Peterborough it doesn't seem that important in the grander scheme of things. Hope all involved in the incident get the support they need - & above all that, that Lewis Kerr makes a full & speedy recovery.
  14. Thoughts with Lewis Kerr tonight, hoping for good news real soon.
  15. More terrific racing, Woffy & Emil, followed by Vaculik v Zagar. Been high quality so far.
  16. Good afternoon gents, decent racing so far, shame Leszno looking a bit empty. Surprised as it's a pretty strong field & the weather lovely too.
  17. Of the current riders I'd pick Woffinden, Hancock & Ward. In any sport you get guys who always seem to have time, make the difficult look easy, they see the bigger picture. Crumpy & Rickardsson in recent times definitely had that same gift too.
  18. It was a brilliant race GW, revenge for Nicki over Matej after the classic race they had in the fixture at Gorzow earlier in the season - for anyone who didn't see that one back in May.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZfyetEkgEI
