  1. So what was the crap from Millard about flags???
  2. Britain Henry although Millard nad Green still seem to think its England.
  3. Britain not England - and how can you support two countries. Crikes be proud of your country, Denmark don't need surrogate fans.
  4. Ah crikes not another like the sad person who used to work on the pit gate at Oxford who supported the Danes and wore a Danish anorak. If you are British support BRITAIN.
  5. Hear, Hear, this guy is a great proud Brit and is worth a few points before a meeting starts just for his enthusiasm.
  6. Perhpas with the addition of tracks like Scunthorpe, St Eval, sittingbourne, Plymouth etc, we could have the League for stand alone teams and the Trophy for second string teams. Youngsters could then ride for two different teams gaining experience on two different tracks and each club can then follow their own agenda.
  7. Oh well, at least we can laugh at Olsen, Denmark were never in it.
  8. Andersen comes over here to Britain learns his trade, is helped by people like Nicholls at Ipswich. OK PK I think would have won, but Andersen to do that does leave a sour taste in the mouth. Not only a dirty rider , but a cheat as well. Ipswich fans at the Scott Nicholls testimonial were only telling me he is getting dirty and to be honest you get the feeling they wouldn't miss him. So who is gonna sign Rempala - what a hero ! Go home Andersen - Well done Sweden a deserved victory - and well done to all riders for a thoroughly entertaining world cup.
  9. Perhpas one of the video companies could use some of it in one of their history tapes.
  10. Andy Fisher goes to Lynn regularly.
  11. Programmes are easy to produce using excel or spreadsheet. Drury at Mildenhall has stopped giving out the teams because people are doing printouts, however i use the version that has the fifteen heats across the top with the riders name grad down the side. All you have to do then is fill in fourteen names, or in Mildenhalls case perm any seven from 45.
  12. Love the one of former TT rider the late Joey Dunlop.
  13. Berwick, Bradford, Coatbridge, Stamford Bridge, Barrow, Newport (Somerton park), Poole used to.
  14. This is only a rumour, but I was advised that another attempt to build houses on station road may be forthcoming.
  15. Didn't Mike Spinks (Boston one) also ride for Peterborough. Peter Spink did (brother of Mike, Canterbury one).
  16. Promoters Bobby and Allan Ham were footie players. Also Torquay United had a player called Mark Loram.
  17. Justin Elkins - Piston Broke
  18. Prospective venue for a GP Don Valley Stadium Sheffield, Crystal Palace.
  19. I used to film every week at both Odsal and Monmore Green. Both were great tracks, good promotions and meetings at Odsal between the two were often tight. In 1989 the Wolves visit included two of the best races I have ever seen at Bradford between Pfetzing and Ermolenko. As for Havelock not being able to ride anywhere else, ??????? In those days he could ride anywhere. He is one of the best captains I have seen at any club. On balance I would have to say that I preferred Odsal, especially the Northern Trophy matches with Sheffield and Belle Vue. Although the Dudley Wolves trophy was always a good meeting. BTW could any Wolves fans who know Stuart Sargeant pass on my regards, he did the pit interviews when I worked there.
  20. Nar it was a hoax, it was Drury in disguise lol.
  21. Boston, the old Mildenhall, Halifax, Trelawny, Leicester, old Weymouth (haven't been to the new one, Birmingham (Perry Barr) all good tracks. I have never taken to Coventry or Rye House, but each to their own. Of todays tracks Sheffield, Swindon, King's Lynn (when its not slick) take some beating for racing.
  22. Aw come on I love a good argument. Crikes I used to argue with the Canterbury Boys all meeting, but buy 'em a drink afterwards.
  23. Everyone is entitled to post their own opinion on here. I have made mine, others have made theirs. Its just a shame that the Grim Creeper has to show his ignorance and lack of respect of peoples rights to their own opinion.
  24. Yet again Pedersen makes a dity move. Block a rider by all means, but don't move across into him. One day some rider is going to take him out big time. Pedersen is dirty no question about it. Time and time again he does the same. Even the other Danes don't like him.
