I'd the tapes are prevented from releasing then clutches start burning out, so not such a clever or inexpensive idea after all

Easy way to solve this issue. Put an electric line under the track where the front wheel should sit to be the right distance from the tapes. Every bike then has something on their forks that when it goes over the line under the track lights up a light on a panel in the refs box. If a riders light goes out before the tapes rise then he is out. Simple.

Doubt sarge will be back no he signed for Glasgow, would be an awful lot of travelling

I believe the mdl agm is not until after the national league one so until then anyone could enter the league

Gm short stroke engine and a mk2 blixt carb for sale. Engine has done 12 practice laps since last service and comes with selectra ignition and coil. The oil will be either synthetic or castor, not both. Once u find out which one it is u can mix different brands as long as u dont swap between synthetic and castor until u have an engine service

Swapping oil is fine as long as u dont swap from castor to synthetic or vice versa.

I think with a bz it has to do with the needle setting. There are 4 or 5 notches on the needle with a clip on one of them. Try moving the clip so it doesnt let so much fuel through. This is as far as I know but havent delt with a bz for a good few years so I may be mistaken

why exactly do u believe that nick mallett is not elibible for the MDL, and what constitutes a 2nd string in your mind? To me a 2nd string is someone who isn't a heat leader and isn't a reserve. we don't have reserves in the MDL and coventry's heat leaders are the 2 national league riders, martin and tyler, so that would therefore make Nick a 2nd string!

so following your logic then, anyone who is experienced is not classed as a 2nd string? so for instance simon stead wouldn't be classed as a 2nd string?

Nick Mallet was brought into the Coventry Mercia Vikings to replace Paul Quarterman who is to miss the entire season due to injury. He is there as an experienced head out on the track to give the youngsters some assistance when racing. He is also hell bent on proving that he is not a spent force on a bike, and is aiming for the national league, which is what the MDL is all about. And he is a 2nd string due to the fact that he is not currently riding in the National league, which makes him eligable for the MDL grand prix.

went to leicester today for a practice, and 4 of the storm were there. all looked quick and smooth. should be a good season ahead. the 4 guys there were james sarjent, ollie greenwood brendon johnson and martin knuckey.
